    I always look at the baby blankets. Winnie the Pooh sells really well!

      Makes me wish I kept all my son’s Classic Pooh from 2007. It’s selling well too!

    I sold a matelasse bedspread on Etsy in one day for 69.00 I believe. And I had gotten it with a pile of other blankets and had not even looked at it to lay for months. I finally washed it, laid it on my bed for pics, listed it, and sold the next day. 😊

    Croscill still manufactures comforters (I have one currently on my bed) and I bought another one on eBay a few years ago (same style) to have when mine wears out. I personally really like them. They are very well made.

      I just saw some shams and curtains yesterday at the thrift too- first time I’ve noticed. They were priced too high but quality did seem nice.

    Loved this video. I have sold several quilts, blankets, throws. They are inexpensive usually. Fun category. Shipping is tricky with big ones! One of my favorite categories.

    I need to get some blankets listed. I stopped picking them up because I find them a chore to list. Cleaning, photos etc. I recently found a Pendleton Beaver State throw in a SW pattern at a church rummage sale for $5 in perfect condition. I’m embarrassed to say I probably have at least one of most brands you mentioned including a vintage Winnie the Pooh comforter 🤦‍♀️

Pendleton also has national park blankets that were used in their lodges in the 40s. I’ve sold those too. ❤cats😀 great video! You can tell a good tapestry by the feel. Nice and thick is a start

    Great Video! Always wondered what the points were for on the Hudson Bay blankets.! I'm currently selling a Beacon Southwestern blanket with some little moth holes, got an offer for $70 that I'm pondering. You hit all the brands I know of and then toped it off with new ones like Croscil, and surprising 80s-90s blankets. ♥

    Growing up in the 60s as a child, everyone had hudson bay blankets. I know my younger sister went through a phase where she was thrifting ceramic pie plates and hudson bay blankets so i need to start searching for hudson bay blankets.
    Im loving doing flatware. I just made another sale this morning.

    I have found Hudson Bay at Estate Sales too but always too high for resale. It is on my Bolo list also. Interesting, I met the Grandaughter of one of the founding members of the Hudson Bay company in Gastown, Van Couver in 2019. Super sweet, beautiful young woman, everyone knew her at the bar/restaurant and she introduced us to pickle shots. LOL

    I am so enjoying your informational videos! I have been able to find some awesome blankets since watching this one. I just found a vintage brown reversible signed Stetson with a kneeling cowboy and horse. I can't find one exactly like it any where online. How do you decide what to charge when you can't find something comparable? Also what do you ship blankets in? It would be great to see a video on how you ship different items like blankets and picture frames.

    • @pishposhreselling
      @pishposhreselling  6 дней назад

      Thanks so much for watching! I guess it would depend on the value of a blanket. A box for a super pricy one maybe. I also would not hesitate to use a clean, new contractors trash bag. Nice and heavy duty. No different to a polymailer…just black lol

    • @pishposhreselling
      @pishposhreselling  6 дней назад

      Oh and for comps…just as close as possible or just a price I’m happy with. Maybe higher than that and leave room for sales and offers.
