Jeff, you mentioned during the re-assembly, that you would discuss making final adjustments to the jets. a video VI in this series would be great. thanks for sharing your expertise. I hope you get the time to post this.
Hi Jaff, thanks for the videos. they have been some of the best I have seen. short, precise and direct to the point. Have you contemplated doing some in regards to rebuilding the clutch ? cheers
Missed out on how to disconnect the throttle cable which is easiest done by sliding the slide bar attachment which the cable resides in to the right whilst holding the cable stationary so it pops out of the "U"
Shame it doesn't state which Vepsa this video applies to. I have a modern GT 200 Vespa and was hoping to see a video on removing the carb on that. The video looks great though - can you do one for my scoot :)
Find the VIN Number. You can find it on the frame of the scooter or generally on the swing arm of the motor. Then look here www.scooterwest.com/discover-learn/scooter-lookup/
Thank you for these great videos. I had to chuckle when you out of nowhere dropped the s-bomb about spraying out the air filter :D Anyway, I'm having a hard time trying to find a rebuild kit for my 1980 p125x ... any suggestions?
This is a fantastic series of videos.Informative, concise, detailed. Well done.
Solid. Got some Saturday fun coming up right here!
Brilliant!!
Remember to turn off the fuel tap before you disconnect the fuel line though!
Jeff, thanks so much for this Vespa carb rebuild series! I'm going to give this a go in the next couple weeks on my P200e.

is there a way I can replace the original CDI on my Vespa and put an after-market one?
whats benefit of replacing into bigger carburetor? for example from 20/20 to 24/24
Grazie per il video. Molto interessante. Ciao
When did you disconnect the throttle linkage? When you pull the carb, the linkage is already disconnected but you never show how this was done.

Hey! Nice series... Question: I have a really old vespa carb looks like this one right there... How can I find out the year model for my bike?

Kinda surprised to see that there wasn't a rubber seal around the lip of the carb box..
I rarely see that seal on anyone's carb box I hate to say.
