    I've never been this early! My secret tip for Disneyland is to really pay attention to the small details. That's where you find the most magic!
    Like on the train ride, seeing the back of small world castle and just taking the park in from different angles. Hopefully you'll still be able to see riders ride Tiana adventure from the train, like you used to with splash mountain. 😊

    My friends grandfather has a window on Main street on the side of the Mad Hatter and I visit the window and send her a picture every time! He was in the Mickey Mouse Club, he worked the Jungle Cruise and would take Walt around the cruise in the mornings. He was really important to Walt and the park. It's so cool. Also, thanks for stopping and recording the marching band. As a former high school marching band kid, this always just gets me right in the feels!!!

    I love these secrets videos! You're so knowledgeable and your positivity and personality make these videos so much fun to watch! And yes, when I eat something SUPER sweet, I crave something very savory / salty too. All the facts I know are from your videos so I didn't know about the secrets (other than the tigger tail because you covered it in a past video). I never tire of these videos. When I met you, Amanda and Miles in Disneyland several months ago, you guys were so gracious and giving with your time. Thank you guys! I also love your Knott's videos.

    I knew 3 of those secrets. I knew about Melvin, Max and Buff being inside of the Pooh ride, I knew about the snow being more on one side then the other. I like the Casting door secret. I didn't realize that lookout spot had a sign that said Tome Sawyer lookout spot. The Pascal secret is new for me

    I knew two of the five secrets, Walt's door and the leftover character heads on the wall from Country Bear Jamboree. At the entrance of Bear County you walked past a cave where a bear was snoring. The eating place there that you couldn't think of was known as the Mile Long Bar. People were able to get hot dogs and something to drink there.

    Oh my goodness! I miss Country Bear Jamboree! I never noticed they put Max and the guys in the Pooh ride!!!! Now I’m starving for Tigger Tails Chris! 😂 We go to Disneyland all the time and I don’t think we ever noticed any of these secrets! Thank you Chris!! 😊

  • @thegameczar

    I knew zero (0) of the secrets. However, I observed that the waterfall on the south side of the Matterhorn makes sense, as that is where the snow would be melting.
    PS: So Amanda likes mountain climbing? Well, I'm "inclined" to agree. It "peeks" my interest.

  • @robertjones1729
    @robertjones1729 9 месяцев назад +5

    Aloha Chris..well so far I know them all and here are a couple more.
    The Matterhorn is actually more difficult to climb on the south side because of the"horn" at the top and the way you need to scale it...when I worked there in the 70's we actually had CM that climb it during the day..they are the ones that played basketball between climbs
    The bar in Bear Country you speak of was Mile Long Bar...done with mirrors.
    On Main St no one ever seems to notice the left side of the street...and all the other people acknowledged there..like the family doctor with the Menorah every year at out Chirstmas time..Walt's dad and many others over there..please do that one Chirs..
    The only one I did not know was Pascale...I will look for him next visit.
    Thank you for being you Chirs..your words of encouragement are just awsomely wonderful..thank you for that
    God bless you and your family this Christmas and throughout the new year

      I always show the windows to my friends when I take them. I explain that they are bascially the parks "credits" and that each job is a hint as to what that person did for the park. I love that so much. And listening to the dentist. Do they still do that?

    • @robertjones1729
      @robertjones1729 9 месяцев назад

      yes that alcove on Center St still has the Dentsit sounds..a man snoring and a piano lesson going on...and that is a fine way to put it..the credits for the Disneyland show!@@artieartesian9590

    I think one of the best old school secrets of Disneyland back in the late90's was the secret entrance back behind Its a small world. Before they fixed the I 5 Freeway we used to just climb through a hole in the green fence covering and then walk all the way down to another hole and then climb up the back side of the facade of its a small world. We would all hang out on the back of small world until the train passed and then we would just walk in through the little cast gate that was right there. That went on for a good 10 years. LOL.. Back in the good ole days.

    I knew about the idea of moss growing on the North side of trees because of lack of sun, never thought about applying it to snow on a mountain.
    I knew about Max, Buff and Melvin as it’s supposed to be the hidden nod to the previous ride.
    I have seen the Walt window, but forgot about it so not sure how to count that.
    Totally missed that sign, but thought it was called Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island.
    Didn’t know about the Pascal, but it was hard to make out. Didn’t look right to me, but that’s my eyes. :)

    I knew the North side of places has more snow but never noticed the Matterhorn had more snow on its north side. I knew about the nod to Country Bears in Winnie-the Pooh ride, we look at them every time. When you get your Tigger Tail don’t forget to look at all drawings in the shop. I knew about the door but not sure I remembered he didn’t have a window. Didn’t know about the Tom Sawyer Island sign. Pascal is new so 2/5 is my total.

    My first experience at Disneyland was when I was just ten years old, and when I went to Tom Sawyer Island, I MET Tom Sawyer. It was just the most wild, weird encounter I've had with a character at Disneyland. Well. Second to the experience I had with Woody, but that was a negative encounter and should not be counted.
    I actually knew about Pascal! I saw another video that showed him, but I've never actually looked for him myself. I didn't know about any of the other secrets, and I'm good with that! I love learning new things about my favorite place.

But I didn't know about the snow on the Matterhorn - although it doesn't surprise me, as it's a fairly accurate scale replica of the real thing. Definitely knew about the guys hanging in the Winnie the Pooh ride. Mentioned them in our video on that ride.
