Today's video is another Taylor Swift vinyl unboxing and this time it is one of the limited edition Folklore vinyl variants. This is the 'Meet Me Behind The Mall' variant. There are two version of this one out there, there's the target red and then there's a gorgeous marbled grey and I have the marbled grey version here today.

The bit about collecting stuff because you love it and not because of the value is soooo real. It bothers me so much when other collector judge people who want to enjoy things.
i started collecting all of her folklore variants during 2021 and i’m glad that i could find them in a local store and they would always have available stock for a good price. looking at them now, a part of me wish i didn’t spend so much money BUT all the variants are different enough to justify. unlike midnights, folklore booklets are all different which makes me think everyone should buy all variants if anyone’s thinking about doing that.
i also think that collecting vinyls and cds is about opening them and appreciating the inside of them, rather than having them sealed and hoping their value would rise, collecting is not a business. some people have such toxic mindset thinking that if you open something suddenly it’s not worth anything. yes it might not sell for an incredible amount of money, but the value is more about how much joy you get from it. and of course anything will age and they turn old over time. so after a few dozen years from now. they might not be brand new but they’re more sentimental than ever.

I’d recommend secondhand sites but be careful at there are fakes ones!
