What a wild rain storm indeed! We picked up 2.84 inches of rain, and the winds were quite intense on Christmas morning and last night. Our power has been out (near Buxton, OR) since 4:30am due to downed power lines from tree falls.
Sounded like a train last night from 1-4am with winds exceeding 48mph just off I-205 in Gladstone. Power flickered but stayed on eventually and thankfully! Lots of debris everywhere and continuous heavy rain all day and night. Idk how much but a lot!
In the extended forecast, I don't see any really cold weather or snow coming. I know it's too early to tell, but could we make it through the winter with no snow? Or at least January?
Thank you Rod! Excellent forecasting!
Beautiful weather, thank you for everything Rod!!
Thank you, Rod.
Thank you Rod
I hope you had an amazing Christmas, Rod. Happy Almost New Year! 🎉
I did and to you and yours.
Merry Christmas
The winds were howling and woke me up around 4:30 this morning in Scappoose. If you drive around town you see lots of twigs and branches down.

Tracking possible colder weather switch the final 10 days or so of January and into February, so we shall see?
@rodhillweather Thanks for the response! Yeah, I guess we will see.
👍 💨 ☔️ 💦
We need the rain, not the tears of liberals from the election.
