How to add your Gmail account to Outlook

- Setting up your Gmail account within the Outlook app in Office 365 or Office 2019 isn't as simple as it should be. In this video I make show you how to make a couple of changes to your account settings to allow Outlook to work with Gmail.

I tried to do this when Verizon stopped supporting email. Neither they nor AOL could help me. I just changed to Comcast and really needed to get my gmail active and sending to Outlook. I had 2 step verification which made it lengthier and some of my Google gmail titles where a bit different but with your help, it worked! I am SO grateful.

Clear and concise. I'd reset my gmail password and as a result was locked out of accessing it via Outlook 2016. Gmail had made 2 step verification mandatory in 2022 so it took a while for me to understand why I couldn't regain access. Your tutorial explained that simply. Thanks - and subscribed.

I watched this old video. There are changes to both Outlook and Google, but with a bit of "dead reckoning," it allowed me to connect to my Windows 10, Outlook 2013 account. Google help was useless, but even this two-year-old tutorial did the job. Thank you!

@@persianhill9957 This video is almost 3 years old. Spoiler alert: Things change! IMO you should NEVER use Outlook. In my experience web base mail is more secure.

My outlook kept crashing when I would try to use the verification password but I kept trying then like magic it eventually worked! Thank you for this video so glad I can finally put all my emails in folders since google doesn't believe in such a thing. :-*

Thanks, it worked for me. @1:57. But google is showing that now the service for less secure apps will no longer available from 30th May 2022. But today on 1st June 2022, it worked.

GREAT......My account got messed up due to an incorrect password. i trawled through RUclips but none of them got to the most important part of ALLOW LESS SECURE APPS IN GMAIL SETTINGS AND SECURITY until i seen your video! That was all that was wrong , it got turned to off due to the wrong password. Some of these videos tried to steer you into buying software! Great informative video.
