    I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy this faction so much, man. I had a blast playing N’kari. Tough campaign but I still enjoyed myself. Things can always be improved but I don’t think it’s a total loss. But I still learned some things from this! Thanks for great content!

      Oh I love the faction concepts and units dont get me wrong! Its the start I dislike and how vassals die to your corruption. Once you survive it can be very fun to take out the elves. Also glad to help!

      @@LordForwind Absolutely agree! Start is definitely rough compared to the other Monogod factions. My 2nd playthrough I basically migrated myself near Sigvald then came back with a vengeance later! 😂

    I totally agree. This faction has some reeeally cool mechanics and vibes but the campaign and (lack of) lord choices really need to be updated. I wish they would hurry up (they said they are doing Khorne next 🙄)
    It’s so boring that the short and long campaign goals are basically the same. Also, can we get starting influence over a faction that actually borders us? Lol. Saphery usually gets destroyed no matter what you do. Don’t vassalize? Dies from its own wars. Vassalize? Killed by factions that DoW you but have no borders with you. It’s a buzzkill for sure.

    • @LordForwind
      @LordForwind  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah and now with the nerfs to cults they are even worse to play. Its just not a good starting location or early game faction Plus the vassal dying to your corruption is just stupid.

  • @hanthony
    @hanthony Месяц назад

    I had fun with the units and general theme, but the campaign felt really empty, there weren't a lot of mechanics for me to engage with on the campaign map. Early campaign was pretty typical, and once I took out Tyrion around turn 12, Ulthuan felt guaranteed and I'm not too sure what to do with the rest of the campaign.

    • @LordForwind
      @LordForwind  Месяц назад

      Yeah it needs more work for sure. I think it was kind of jammed into IE just like skarbrand.
      Hopefully the slaanesh rework/dlc that is coming will improve the start and mechanics

    Another great video!!!! If u show how a faction/LL army tends to take their battle for example, early, mid, late game videos, would be much greater help

    • @LordForwind

      Hmm would be tricky to do since it would either have to be designed for MP or solo play which would be drastically different. But hey might give it a try if I can find a good format that works.

      @@LordForwind interesting, I've done some reading, but won't be able test 'till later, would you say that the "Fudging Vassals" mod fixes the issues you see with the faction now?
      Based on your comments WRT the starting location, I figure i'll use a starting location mod to replace the Red Duke's faction w/ my own at start, or mb start down in Quenelles
      With the vanilla start, I figure using the seduce units w/ the disciple army together may allow for a quick rush of the starting province and the HE province to the east easily enough

    I realize this is late, but the basic barracks giving the same unit as the main settlement building doesn't seem to be an error, because Slaanesh has two options for settlement buildings, at least in the capital settlements. And each provides a different basic unit, so the barracks provides both to cover supplying whatever the main building doesn't.

    • @LordForwind
      @LordForwind  2 года назад +1

      Yeah it's just odd, that the game doesn't remove one based on the settlement building.

    • @Aqua_Wren
      @Aqua_Wren 2 года назад +1

      @@LordForwind While that might look neater and I agree from that standpoint, it might be more confusing to a new player if the main settlement building removed a unit from the barracks and make them think they -have- to have that specific settlement choice to have the unit at first. The redundancy isn't without its merits, I'd say.

    If you get 2 additional Lords early you can level N'kari up with melee, one of them with army/recruitment buffs and the last one with magic. Transfer the army from army guy to magic girl, trigger pain for pleasure on army guy, transfer army from magic girl back to army guy. Now the army has taken no damage and gets the buffs.

    I really wish they could fix their vassalization system and how the AI interacts with it. N'kari could have a really unique and amazing Champaign with the factions Champaign mechanics having such potential for depth when it comes to N'kari and how he/she interacts with the other Lords/Factions and has the tools to do some really awesome and interesting things. Combine that with the faction's playstyle and it would definitely be in my top 3 champaigns in IE. It reminds me of a combination between a melee Wood Elves and Dark Elves playstyle minus the ranged/artillery units.

    • @LordForwind

      @Kevin Harvey it's also a case of trading settlements. If your vassal or ally has one of your province you can potentially trade settlements to obtain the full province. Otherwise yeah it's just to keep from killing your vassal with corruption or give them a potential spawn/healing point deeper into a fight.
