I saw PP live once, a few years back, but it was after Jason had left. Wish I could have seen him. He was one of the main reasons I went with a friend. At the time I didn't realize he had left. Good band. He doesn't remind you of Keith Moon back there, he IS Keith Moon. Showing that kind of seemingly genuine enthusiasm & spirit for a song he's/they've probably played a thousand times.... It's sad he wasn't cast to play him in Moon's bio coming out. His looks & style. He was born for it.
Amazing that when they went on Conan, Jason plays keys because they had Max Weinberg as the bandleader, and here Paul Shaffer is the band leader so he played keys and Jason was back to drums. Interesting
