- Ingredients Used:
Sweet Potato Pie Mix:
1 Cup sweet potato mashed
1/2 stick unsalted butter melted
1/2 Cup evaporated milk
2 large eggs
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1 TSP Ground Cinnamon
1/2 TSP Ground Nutmeg
1/4 TSP Ginger
1/4 Cup all purpose flour
1 TSP Vanilla
Pound Cake:
2 Sticks unsalted butter softened
5 TBSP Butter flavored shortening
3 Cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs (room temp)
3 Cups cake flour
1/2 TSP Baking Powder
1 TSP Salt
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 TBSP Vanilla
Brown Sugar Glaze:
1/2 stick unsalted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 heavy whipping cream
1/2 TSP Vanilla
1 Cup powdered sugar
I tried it, and I use my excess batter and sweet potato mix, and made mini muffins so good

What brand of cake flour did you use, I done bought 3 different kind. I normally use Swanson Down.

@@lashawndasimms1177 I had to make a cake at the last minute, I used vanilla cake mix with the swirl it was also delicious. Either way it comes out delicious!
