When the game first released, I was building ignisters and got so many URs every 10 pull. You RARELY got a SR only 10 pull. Now days? It seems it's rare to pull more than 1-2 UR per 10
@@neusyns That and the fact that every deck nowadays seems to play at least 12 ur cards engine is probably why decks are getting so expensive.
bro when the game started i was switching decks left and right, now i have to wait 2-3 months to craft 1UR
It depends on what deck you are referring to. You can still create any deck for 3-4k but just not what you want. It is true that ever since they removed the guaranteed ur, this has been greedy. You really know that they are doing the digital version of short printing stuff. Short printing in digital form….wtf.
I have played since the beginning and have a lot of decks to play and I uave never needed to purchase gems. I have like 900 hours in per steam and not counting on mobile
This is why I left Master Duel .
Game becone expensive and outside daily, there is no other way to earn gems .
The game doesnt reward you playing it.

PLEASE READ: Wish we had the data but this is an argument I’ve made before - 1) packs now contain way more URs making it harder to pull chase cards 2) even half decent cards that may or may not see competitive play are now URs (e.g in todays standard Window anchor and Raye would definitely be URs as core cards for the deck) 3) UR drop rates feel so reduced! You open 10 packs and have high chances of not even getting one! Should be every 10 pack containing a UR at least!
Also something I’ve talked about before, the game economy is so broken! 21$ for 1400gems? Why would anyone need 1400 gems? Make it simple!
0,99$= 100 gems
5,99$= 500gems
10,99$= 1000gems
24,99$= 3000gems
49,99$ = 6000gems
99,99$ = 9000gems + 2 guaranteed foil URs

The Utopia seems to mean it just has a holo. I've seen it happen for packs that don't even have an SR in it.

At 4:01, despite having glowing yellow lights on the pack and an utopia popping up, the pack only contains N and R cards
Its a fact URs are a lot more scarce than before. Anybody that has been playing for more than a year knows how 3-4 URs out of 10 packs was not insanely hard to get. Now you average 1 and pray you get 2.

Maybe they did it that way to make players stick to the game at the beginning when the game was new, making us think it was easy to build the decks we wanted. But now things have changed as players are more engaged to the game.
Gems are so expensive in this game, I would love to spend like 20/30€ a month but they gave you just 20 packs 😂the worst thing is that you won't get what you want ! I hope Konami will improve this percentage system with these packs.
Konami boned me. I spent 14k gems and got 5 dark holes, 6 of the lv 12 pendulum, 5 of the spell card, and a bunch of other BS. I got 1 of each of the Fire King cards. Straight BS. * They really need to have some kind of elimination system where you are more likely to pull the cards you haven't gotten yet instead of the same one or two cards over and over from a new pack. Who wants 6 of something when you can only have max 3 of any given card in a deck?

Main have 10 UR and mini have 3 UR.Both of them only 1 copy each UR and 2 copy each SR so you cant get same UR in a box.If you need another copy UR just reset the box so the same UR appear again.

The last 6k I've spent in this game, I got 6 URs total. So it seems to be roughly 1 per 10-pack on average now
I spent 9k and got so many, unfortunately they were all cards I don’t need..I was going for fire king cards but I only pulled 6 ur for the archetype..then like 4 arcray (which sucks) 5 combined maneuver (I’m not kidding, freaking 5 copies of it), 4 Dark Hole dragons and like 2 of the new link pendulum card..I swear to god the game seems to know what I want from a pack and gives me only other things sometimes😂

There's definitely a difference, I've been watching old videos and there's a difference, drop rates are lower.
Konami is changing strategy, squeeze existing players rather than having more players.
Rates in the first three month’s were great. It went downhill pretty quick
Yo this was a brilliant video. Loved the comedy. Never seen such trash luck though. With 4k gems i pulled 3 of each fk (4 kirin) and 2 exceed.
What i've noticed is the best animations to look out for is the full golden glow, that should mean multiple new/banner cards, high likely hood of surprise UR(s). This game also seems to have actual good rates for paid currency too..which would make sense given the gaming scene nowadays😅.
Hope the "Full Golden Aura" thing helps, which I mean the background, where u see all the packs ur opening if that wasn't clear. It's the only thing that has garunteed me multiple surprise URs.

Me - only 13K gems - 30 URs & 98 SRs 😂😂😂 finally this time I got a better luck than you. last stream I predict fire king total URs is 4 so its true.. this pack I mostly guess correct its rarity.

I had this exact kind of luck pulling for king sarc and co. Pulled 50 or so packs (maybe more) and almost none of the UR’s i was hunting.
Just wanted to point out that when you buy the gems you're actually getting about half of the gems "paid" + half of the gems "free", so the paid gems theory might still be solid.
I have had a UR pop up from a blank card with no rainbows or gold auras around the card

I spend 4k gems and got scammed on first pull then was lucky to get atleast some of the Z-ARC support and the new Pen link card. Had to dismandle cards to get the rest lol.
The exact thing happened during my multi pulls. Invest 3k gems , on 2nd multi , there's no UR . It's so hard to get UR in this packs
Ive had that animation happen to me and then flipped every card to successfully and luckily get, N and R basic cards that isn’t used in any current deck. 😐 they put an animation to masterfully bait you worse than any burn deck you’ve ever played. 💀

I think 1 alt art engage and ordinary engage is good because they have differant animation and both cool

Maybe I got lucky I had 8000 non paid gems and I legit pulled 3 of all the fire king support double of all z arc and 1 of each of the sky striker UR stuff it was the greatest pulls I've ever had I even had 15 UR cards I could just dust at the end not a single 10 pull that didn't have minimum 4 to 5 URs in most cases more
I think im pulling at similar odds, but i only pull lots of whatever cards no one is playing for ur. In the last pack i pulled a ton of salmangreat and memento cards. Not what people are playing. The actual good cards are more rare.
It's pretty obvious the only reason Snake Eye didn't get hit harder was to sell Fire Kings... I'm definitely not going deep into pack if at all. It very much feels like a trap.

Yeah this is nothing. I remember watching you clear box after box in Duel Links when Gimmick Puppets came out for an ultra rare Da Baby lol.
They’ve 100% changed the system behind the pack pulls. Before I used to easily get around 3 URs per 10 pack. Now it is almost always one, and it 9/10 times it is the most useless UR in the pack. I’ve packed 5 of the fusion card in the Horus pack, every memento card imaginable to play the deck and barely got one of each of the Horus cards after spending 10k+. It feels like they are cheating us but what can we do?
4000 gems later and the only URs i pulled were 2 wings of light and 1 dark hole dragon 😂😂

I pulled 2 for free. I took the 1k bundle, because I kinda do that instead of buying master packs (yes, thank you, idgaf that you don't see any value whatsoever in virtual peripherals). I will not splurge 200 bucks on these bundles, despite their aggressive relevancy in the meta right now. Thank you very much.
RAINBOW or Not! if you skip you'd probably get an UR. I don't recommend doing it one by one.

This is why I only do singles pulls. I get a rainbow pack every 4 or 5 packs and not having to risk that 10 pull scam. There's no real advantage at pulling 10 tbh
