AGREE!!! Choirs are pretty epic!!! Most folks can't handle the solo thing, but they still like to sing - choirs enable people who might not have a fantastic voice, to still make good music... and the social aspects of a decent choir are MAJOR.
As someone who did choir all through high school, I sometimes feel like they are under appreciated and I'm glad great choirs are getting the recognition they deserve
The second choir, the Welsh choir, was very impressive. I preached in Wales for over three years and this brought back fond memories. Of all the places I have travelled and preached I can say that no people can sing like the Welsh.
I say no one can sing like any of the Celtic folk. Music is so ingrained in us, it's in our blood! The Irish even had a flag with the Irish Harp on it, prior to the current Tricolour that the flag is. Celtic music has such a deep meaning throughout history. I love so much that it's making a resurgence in these last few years, as well as several Celtic Languages like Irish, Scottish Gaelic, Scots, and Welsh.
The moment the 2nd choir start singing, I just close my eyes and dude... I got emotional that I feel like angels are welcoming me in heaven and when I open my eyes, I teared up a lot. The best!
Here I am, a 16-year-old mess. Going through my GCSEs. And I come across this video. Now, almost all the songs made me feel warm and happy. But God damn it, when the Welsh choir started to sing, I started sobbing like a baby.
Booooiiii that "let it shine" choir tho..... turnt that whole show into a sunday church service!!!!! That was immaculate on soooo many levels!!!!! A few other groups were really good too but oh myyy that choir!!!👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The first choir piece was annoying to listen to. The 2nd choir brought me to tears every time I listened to them. , like the Entrance song to heaven, sung by Angels
TheJbks2012 I’ve first heard the second song in a documentary about welsh or something like that but it was sang so beautifully I immediately remembered it.
Have seen this before, but haven’t commented. Love them all, but the 1st Welsh choir Cor G and Only Boys Aloud made me cry (happy tears) with the sounds they made. So so beautiful. Thanks very much young folk.
yep, definitely. The sound was kinda crappy. If they had a mic with a bit of echo added to it.... To EACH individual girl, it would sound so much better. Shame tho, this is one of my most favourite songs by Enya..

Alice Di Marco they were really great. the other ones were okay. they’re tones were seriously lacking and the blend of their harmonies were not that great. the crowd only went because they grew in sound and they moved. they definitely weren’t the best in performing their songs. that choir was really great though
Only boys aloud was for me, and still is, such an emotional experience at many many levels. For me, this choir was the greatest ever in such a tv show.
So very emotive . Absolutely superb. The Welsh choirs are in a class of their own. Wow. All of these choirs are top notch. How they pick a winner is impossible.
I think it's just a way to show their support and a signal for the performers to know if they're doing good enough. If people complain that much, there shouldn't be an audience at all.
I love the choir that sang Roar! Their voices blended perfectly together and their tone was so good. A while ago in middle school, we did Roar a cappella, but it didn’t sound this good and with this much enthusiasm
If anyone is interested, the song the 2nd choir performed was Benedictus from The Armed Man mass by Karl Jenkins. You can find the choral (non-orchestral) version by searching for Karl Jenkins Motets Benedictus. Definitely worth checking out along with the other pieces from that mass
The third choir gave me so much chills! They blend so well which surprised me because people with powerful voices usually have a harder time blending, but they made if work so well! I could feel their joy and the power flowing from them! Outstanding group!
1st Choir: I smiled 2nd Choir: I cried 3rd Choir: I danced 4th Choir: I'm so proud with the soloist because her concert was so successful, thanks to her back up singers and dancers :)

I’ve been doing choir for maybe 14 years of my life now and never plan on stopping. Being part of something so breathtaking is so heartwarming and beautiful. Even if the choirs aren’t as brilliant as these, the harmony (no pun intended) and the connections you make with people are so great.

The woman in the dress with The 100 Voices of Gospel was one of the best choir leaders I've ever seen. She added so much to the energy, obviously has an incredible voice, and when she took the lead and the choir was doing the hits behind her, she totally stole the show. I might have even preferred if the dancers weren't there and it was just her in the front with the choir behind her (though the dancers obviously did a phenomenal job as well)
The second choir was so choral they brought down the quality of my audio just to make it sound better (like one of those really really old classical pieces)
My school choir sang the first song (Adiemus) last summer as well :) It's just amazing to perform that song on stage together with 150 other singers and an orchestra 😍
Yes, I love the song Adiemus! I don’t get why people don’t like the song, or the choir that sings it. Personally, I think it’s beautiful. My grade 5-6 choir are singing this, and I love it!
Loved them all, but particularly enjoyed the 100 Voices of Gospel. Reminds me of when our Nana used to take us to her gospel church some Sundays. It was wonderful.
The second one made me so emotional. The atmosphere of the song was incredible! I could really feel the emotion and I felt very moved. Amazing talent!❤️ Boys Alloud was also very amazing! I had goosebumps!
As a past chorister I admire all choirs and respect the practice they put in.Remember the the beauty of the lads voices until the voice broke. Some sing better songs than others but that doesn't mean they were not all wonderful.
It suits/rests so well my ears to hear wonderful choirs as them. We got used to hear soloists. But, somewhere, after a while, it seems we are made to hear voices at onces. It has a flavor of freedom (being able so sing side by side with smiles it their eyes...) and It elevates my soul for a good while.
I keep watching the first appearance of Only Boys Alloud over and over. Each time, without fail, chills and damn ninjas cutting onions somewhere in my house...
Detroit IS back. Wonderful, artistic things are happening there. I lived there during the heyday of the Fisher theater and early Motown. That talent and passion lives on in the Motor City.

@Jeffrey George Trying to repair the Nintendo switch that my 4yo accidentally knocked of the counter and into the toilet. Thank you for asking. Hope you are well and have a lovely day
@Jeffrey George This Little Light of Mine was really fun and uplifting ❤ May I ask which state you currently reside in
@Jeffrey George I'm in California. I don't really open my email much though, so not sure how we'd communicate. Let me know. Have a blessed day
@Jeffrey George which company... AOL, gmail, etc
Wait, is this Alex, Lt Colonial, the scammer looking for thousands from a single mother of 2
The welsh language is beautiful, it’s even more beautiful when it’s used in raw singing
Its a shame its dying language, one im proud to be able to speak
These young ladies are amazing they are all stunningly great singers and you can see the love they have for their tutor ❤ and all beautiful
Now I wanna be in a choir (even though I can't sing😂)
Choir is great for learning! I've learned so much, not just about singing but understanding and reading music.
As a music major in college, I can tell you, ANYONE can be taught how to sing. Some may take longer to understand pitch, but it is possible for anyone to learn, and all should.
If choir is as big and fun as those shown in the video, you can just pretend that you sing and have fun time dancing there 🤣
with all the shit happening in todays world, this video is a real pick me up. You just cant beat a good choir!

They are my new favorite choir. I heard their rendition of "Hallelujah" and instant tears and goosebumps. That does not happen often. Nearly never. That was truly amazing.
