Yea, everyone has to understand that there are different styles within the style of traditional grip. Different lines like it different ways. I have an instructor who likes the pinky finger curled back, and in another line I played with they didn't. It all depends.

My friend had the music to it... no idea where he got it. I already had memorized what I COULD pick out and then I just memorized what I didn't know.
I agree, me being left handed. I still do it with the middle and index separated though.

I agree, the only thing I see wrong technique-wise has to do with your right hand. It seems sometimes that you have an angle on the stick's rebound.
i think they are the same sticks just in different positions and different lighting
