Another Motorist Had a 2015 M3, a 2016 M3
Comp and a 2018 M4CS, the CS was superb, really liked it.... BUT still didn’t have the character of the e92. That engine man... so special. Sounds and feels wonderful with the steering too. I do miss the Carbon ceramic brakes of the CS I must admit. Felt I wanted to move on one now as I can’t see the e92 getting too much cheaper now. They seem more desirable than ever lately

@@sanmarino_cs1698 How did you deal with the lack of torque? Currently have a 2016 M4 and love how much low end torque it has and how unpredictable it feels. The torque is the only thing making me question getting an e92

He talks about the quality of the gearshift; the vehicle that I've driven with the best gearshift is a Toyota HZJ75 Landcruiser 6 cylinder diesel. It's smooth, light, quick & will shift like that even when cold. I can even shift without the use of the clutch, the synchros are that good. The gear lever is still tight even on 200,000+ km vehicles. The car with probably the second best gear shift was a Renault R16 I owned which had a 4 speed column shift.
Of course it is , already had my 2012 for 6 years now. E92 best M ever produced
M3’s have that rubbery crap 6mt. These cars are really best in dct IMO. They were designed around the dct.

One of the most popular mod for these cars is the autosolutions short shifter for a reason. Even then they’re still crap. I know bcs I have one. Drive any Japanese 6mt then drive a bmw 6mt and you’ll feel the difference.

Look into the Autosolutions SSK. Changes the shifter feel and makes a world of difference. Just got mine done a couple of weeks ago.
Absolutely. Funny how everyone complains about the 6MT when it's $400 away from being near perfect, while nobody bats an eye at spending more than that on a DCT tune.
How is the install on those?
@@micraw714 I had a local shop install the SSK. The SSK and the Ultimate Clutch Pedal are worth the investment on a 6MT e9x M3.
Had the Autosolutions SSK installed recently as well. Easily the most important modification I could have done for this car, completely changed the feel of my shifting experience for the better.
I think this is a better daily driver than weekend car besides the running costs. Fun car, comfy seats, big trunk and back seats, sounds good going fast or slow.
Yep, I daily mine and its awesome. I have a DCT to make it a bit more liveable.
the beauty is that it can be a daily if you want. But I like to reserve mine for the weekend. I also don't like to commute in it or drive it in snow.
I'm on my 2nd already. Here in Europe manuals are hard to find . It's about 1:10 , manual:dct

Bangle's bimmers look way better than all the ape shit churned by BMW today. The E85 Z4 and this E92 M3 are examples of everlasting designs. Just go and look at the latest Z4 and the M3 and M4 twins. Absolutely horrendous.

Let me correct u my bro, e9x m3 is not the quickest car out there; but it is certainly among the fastest! Quick is how soon u can get up to speed. The e9x has more speed than damn near anything not on the level of a Porsch 911 turbo. If u remove limiter, down pipes, pulley, ecu flash, ❄️ air intake and u will see 200 + mph. Faster than a mutha*. Not many cars running that fast at all. Mines DCT which is quicker than the manual

Great video bro! I had a quick question for the e9x m3 guys. I have a resonator delete on my m3 and it somewhat woke it up is the muffler mod along with an x pipe a good route? I don’t want rasp I like the deep growl like this one in the video. Thanks!
If you want minimum rasp and be a decently loud go with quad resonators and delete cats primary and secondary and leave the muffler alone is going to sound way better don't delete resonators is going to sound bad and raspy same with the muffler don't delete it or you will have more rasp
What My car has is resonated test pipes from rogue engineering and I made the mistake of removing the stock resonators so I added two more vibrant resonators from amazon for a total of 4 (2 from resonated test pipes) and it sounds loud but not obnoxious and way less raspy

E92 is just the body style and chassis. They don’t exist no more, they are only from 2008-2013 and the E92 was replaced with the M4
2015- are called f80 m3
Such a shame gas is 9 dollars a gallon in the uk

F80 is awful and e 92 is a masterpiece... I envy that manual gearbox!

@@rllyhim2621 Hi, the front is ugly, the back is also ugly and the interior is just ugly. The first time I saw an e30 I was shocked, impressed with the e46 and blown away with the e92. It was such the impact that I fell in love of that car, not knowing its mechanics... and when I met the F80 (blue I remember) I said, what the well is this f***ing ugly monster??? And the M4 F82 was even worse, with it's boaty looks, massive coupe with no shape. Although the new M3 looks amazing from the back and I like the new front grill, but you feel a bit disappointed when you hear a M340i start engine and an M3, and you start thinking, is it worthy to pay almost the double for it? So in few days I'm going to buy an M3 e92 with manual transmission!
