What was 1. Your hardest part of the pipeline, and 2. The hardest part of the pipeline for your fellow classmates? From after boot camp to until graduation, please.
1. Physically, it was prelim. It's a selection course and it's hard... Mentally, it was the stress of dealing with opportunity after opportunity to fail and get reclassed to some lame job. It's a super stressful school, and rightfully so. Get used to watching all of your friends fail out and disappear as time goes on. 2. Everyone struggles in their own way through the pipeline. You're exposed to so many different stressors and challenges that it's hard to say the ONE thing that everyone struggled with. Some people do well at certain parts and have a hard time with others. So I guess to answer your question, the hardest part for my classmates who failed was being well rounded. You have to "be" so many things to be an EOD tech, and not being able to handle one of those necessities will find you picking jobs for a reclass.
In the video you say that you need to deadlift 5x450 in order to get a good score on the EOD PT test. Is that test one of the ones used in EOD selection? I have an EOD contract and leave in Jan. and if that’s the required number I need to double down on deadlifts lol. Thanks.
Taylor is correct. Also, the last I heard they were going to gradually phase in the tier 2 exercises throughout EOD training. In other words, you won't be required to take the full on EOD tier 2 test until you are already an EOD tech. I'm unfamiliar with the current pt qualification requirements to pick up an EOD contract. Your recruiter should know.
Just seeking for your advice... I a 5'7" male with slim body also with hpertension, as such how many reps, sets n lbs/ kgs should i lift for squats, swing, pull up and bench press? Also, i notice that on your 7th day you are doing some recovery/healing day. What recovery exercises will you recommend to me? I am a blaster also belonging to the National Police
You'll have to get with your local Marine EOD shop to get a more accurate answer, but I'm pretty sure it's just a normal CFT and then you'll be put through some stuff when you do OJT with them before getting a slot at EOD school.
@@rav6274 At least a 110 GT Score, I believe. You'll also need to be an NCO (not selected for SSgt) and at least a 1st class PFT and CFT. Get with your Career Planner and they will be able to walk you through it.

5x450 will give you the maximum score for deadlift on EODs Tier 2 fitness test. The test will not be implemented until mid 2021 for the career field

Yeah for sure! Swimming is a great workout, and it's easy on the joints. Definitely get some swimming in if you wanna do Navy EOD
