HELLO DDR'S (Dedicated Description Readers)!
This was one of the most intense days ever!! The amount of stuff we did in one day was INSANE! Especially since I had flown in an F-18 the day before and was still sore from all the training! It was SO much fun, and also kind of nostalgic. It's been almost 14 YEARS I joined the Navy and qualified for SEAL training. It feels like a distant memory, but coming back to JEB Little Creek made it all come flooding back. I'm so greatful to have been given this opportunity and I owe a HUGE thanks to some people who don't want to be credited... You know who you are.
It was also pretty hard for Claire to film and edit this video because there was a LOT of stuff we weren't allowed to film (we were on a spec ops base afterall). HUGE thanks to her for being patient and understanding through the whole process!

Holy cheese, this was cool to watch! I have a few questions about the training: first, how heavy was the 155 Projo? It’s a bomb shell, right? Second, did you get a heart check out of your harness? My brother worked for a cell tower company for a while, and he said that in order to make sure you’re secured in the harness, it drops a bit, and makes your heart jump into your mouth: at least in my experience. Third, what was it like re-training with the Navy? Was it much different from when you were doing your military time?
Hi! Gabe joined to be a S.E.A.L. and went to B.U.D.S. training, though he broke his femur and couldn't complete the training. Most of this stuff in this video is not what you do in basic training nor B.U.D.S. (except for the obstacle course and rappelling). This is more specific to Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) training (which comes after completing B.U.D.S.)

He joined the Navy in 2008/2009 to be a S.E.A.L. but broke his femur in training. To stay in the Navy, he cross-rated to the Navy Fleet Band.
