I literally just started playing the game today, thank you for the video, just what I needed. Good thing I didn't get past meeting Lann before seeing it :)
I would say its rather big abuse than not so big. I mean there is a significant differense in party perfomance on lvl 2 and lvl 3 in the maze. Some classes (say hello to mutation warrior) have lvl3 powerspikes, evereyone gains +1 AC for 3rd poit in mobility, Camellia gets lvl2 spells (as well as any prepared caster mc) and also can pick chant as a feat, or make selective entagle for kiting purposes etc. Normaly you take those extra experience points from your companions (exept for Camellia for some reason) so they become less effective. And if you switch the option back and forth you just make exp out of nowhere.
Huh, that's interesting. You would think the experience would naturally just adjust based on your current party number and permanently be set to 1/6th once you get your sixth party member. Well that extra hp should make the tutorial less of a dice roll on unfair
Thanks! Indeed it does help, but it's not just the extra HP. Level 3 can be a big level for some builds (like my two recent tank builds) and it makes the maze much more manageable.

You have a good point. Still, when playing on unfair I'll take any advantage I can get.
@@cassiusvictus7838 yea, i used this trick on my unfair runs as well, however from certain point i've decided to stop and try to survive without it)
