- In this 10 minute video filmed in the Madikwe, ZA (South African) Private Game Reserve on February 29, 2012, a single spotted wild dog chases an exhausted Impala into the water and then leaves the stranded Impala while he goes back for his pack. The Impala waits alone for approximately 20 minutes on a small island in the middle of the watering hole...plenty of time for him to have made a safe escape. The wild dog pack subsequently arrives and chases the Impala for some time in the water, eventually catching him and dragging him out of the water where the final kill is made, and the poor creature is devoured. This video by T. Lee Baumann represents a rare, violent, but natural act by wild animals.
This is the first time I've seen wild dogs actually go into the water, swim and chase their prey. This has to be the most amazing chase caught on camera!
They do go in the water if they have to. I've seen chase videos where the prey is in the water and all the wild dogs teetering on the edge leaning as far in as they can. They would eventually go in and drag the prey onto shore.
I'm glad you found it exciting!!!!
theres more..
martin green these is the cruelest thing for the film makers and to those who felt happy with the brutal death of impala. it is not the problem of herbivores if these demonic creatures need to eat... why don't they eat lion?
You're an ignorant ass.
I'm glad you warned us so I would be prepared to witness the brutal sight of a bunch of wild dog's wagging their tails up in the air in a big circle.
Lol
😂😂😂
for all we know, the impala went down a secret hatch and through an escape tunnel...
Impala finishing swimming lessons:
"Ok, thatll be 100 dollar...ahh!!!ahh!!! Wtf!!!
The poor impala was like damn fellas can I get on land first then EAT ME !!!! 🍗 ✌
Thanks you for no stupid music and for using the stabilizer! :)
I apologize for the shakiness. I did not have a tripod (I am not a professional photographer), and my arm was tired after holding the camera up for nearly 30 minutes.
Great job
Was there anything left afterwards?
Well spoken young man.
Once it got on land.. never saw it again. Lol
All you saw were tails and red faces.
Wow! Land version of PIRANHAS!!!
they're like fucking land pirahnas!...damm!
Wild dogs swimming can't believe..what a team work
Them wild dogs be on your ass 50 deep perhaps not the fiercest animals in the wild but they damn sure seem like the most effective.
the camera was very shaky which affected the quality of video and also zoom in was needed to have more closer view
Imagine the pain of having your stomach and genitals ripped apart at the same time all the while, you can’t even breath because a dog has your nose and mouth covered. This poor thing suffered excruciating pain in silence.
Chances are it didn't feel most of it. With that loss of blood, the body goes into shock pretty quickly and pain receptors shut down.
No god
Onur O Oh yes there is a God. It is we that created this fallen world by following satan ( the god of this world ) instead of God the creator. When mankind fell it brought death upon us all.
And now everyone pays including nature for our own transgressions.
tf you worship satan ? got one illuminati believer over here
Hey Golden boy you really say so ??
I just want your honest answer to my quetion which is :
How would you like to die ?
by lions after 1st being struggled or this way by heynas or dogs ........................plz answer me
Never seen the wild dogs in the water before.
These wild dog kills are the messiest the animal is thoroughly disemboweled and more before it actually dies. It seems like the lion kills are relatively quick and clean compared to these kills.
Ramsey Harding These dogs have the highest success rate compared to any other predator.
Ramsey Harding: You think these bastards are bad, check out the Hyenas....
Ramsey Harding these all carnivores should be wiped out
Lions are merciful compared to these little beasts. At least lions choke out and kill their prey before lunchtime
They're so intelligent and social animals, amazing!
I definitely agree. Teamwork is the best work.
@@marylandman12
Hence why they care even for weaker packmates. Wild dogs know the numbers advantage gives you tactical versatility.
Fuck you!!! They are ugliest animals of the world!!!
@5:30 our beloved, yet vicious Wild dogs give a whole new meaning to opening up a package......😳
just imagine if you're alone being chased by these wild dogs... geeez! that would be a chased of death!
What's just as scary is these dogs are smaller than golden retrievers.
Very nice. Capture
That thing had zero chance of survival when 20 wild dogs surround it.
Wild dogs are brutal and have no mercy on their prey. They'll dismember you and eat you while you are still breathing and thinking. Ouch!
they kill quicker than most predators do and with that much trauma shock sets in quick
but still brutal
Ni Pos that's why they all need to be exterminated. what use do they have? if they are eating snakes well fine. but they are good only at defenseless herbivores...
@@freddiecapillan8689 You're an idiot
They eat their prey alive
Lol violent content ? What violent content the dogs surrounding the animal you couldn’t see anything ! It’s called Nature !
What was God thinking when he created the Impala?
Right?
What was he thinking when he was creating this cruel, unfair world
@@johnytan971 God created a perfect world it is we humans who ruined it
What's worse than getting caught in the water by a croc? Getting caught in the water by a dog😂
Nicely captured and filmed...
Nothing graphic about that.
@nowand beyond i couldn't see a thing being rip apart with bunch of dogs around the prey...i saw one dog took out probably an organ liver ...so imma not a weirdo lol... 🤔😁😂
Lucky no croc lurking about.
Paul Amarante I would’ve been picked getting killed by a crocodile over being ripped alive to shreds by wild dogs any day of the year lol.
Lead wild dog: run all you like ,you'll soon be marinating in our digestive juices, long legs !!
Impala: gotta catch me first an...... OOHH GOD!!! WHO KNEW THEY COULD SWIM !!!!
i wonder what it was thinking when it was being escorted back to land with like 10 of them waiting
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💥💀👀
I've seen People getting eaten by wild animals , but I've never seen it by wild dogs and I wish it wouldn't happen to anybody
I would rather drown
David Finley lol
David Finley damn bros 😁✌
Sofiane1993 yeah but at least not alive lol
Avon gonna get you!!
They will not allow.😂😂😂
Could have asked the dogs to move out of the way while while you were filming.
The Impala has suffered thousands of bites . ..
the suffering and anguish these prey animals must go thru is incredible to think about
You really get to see the pack's organized hunting skills especially when they happen to catch their prey in the water.
so fascinating how many prey must be caught and consumed every day by just these AWDs alone, not even considering all the other carnivores on the planet wow
Gosh! They left no trace of their prey in just minutes!
Hadrami Prince Only the stomach contents, hooves, horns and hard bones that only hyenas can crush.
So word when you take a couple steps back and really see and absorb the actual situation. And looks like ants reading form a bird too lol
this is an awesome video. incredible. i bet that creature being pulled out of the water was frkn TERRORFIED. can you even start to imagine what that was like for any prey?? total chaos, fear, confusion, pain, etc
Wild Dogs : ' Will you stop it already...We're life guards, we're here to help you..sheeesh '..
Wild dogs are relentless!
I like how the rinos are just chillin' out.
where's the graphic content??
Wow , these dogs are also like little attack boats in the water... ouch.
I don't believe you needed the disclaimer about "violent content". There was nothing violent to see except the dogs wagging their tails in a big circle...
Boy that Impala sure was lucky there were no crocs in the water! 🤣🤣
Well, nothing can stop a hungry predator.
Cruel world. Whoever started earth did a piss poor job.
Some geezer called God I think , yeah piss poor job lol
What’s worse is people still worship this cruel creator
These vicious bastards can easily do same to a human-being.
Might have already done who knows..
5:50 for once I'd like to see a far off shot to see what it looks like from afar way out in the bare lands with huge open view.
simply amazing how they consume the entire prey, erased from existence in minutes
@@朝倉雄介 settle down, meathead. Let people have their opinions.
@@rickleblanc8900: Let ... opinions" is correct. So I delete mine.
What a wonderful video👍👍👍👍
Damn never seen a wild dog swimming to kill an impala
Alina Mitchelson yeaa man
Wher is croc when you need
Those dogs make some creepy ass noises. Imagine hearing that as an impala...
At least the impala got a nice, long bath before dinner.
Haven't seen such organised hunters. Their brains super organised
It's like a swrom of bees stinging you at once!
A crocodile in the water would’ve made this video so much more epic.
There’s no violent content there. Too many of the dogs blocking the way so yea it’s actually pretty soft violence
5:00 so funny how they all seem to get so excited when they have a catch with pure joy. and its so amazing how they all cram their heads in the all on top of each other and packed in tight lol wow
mikeyb byekim I find your comments in every video about wild dogs out there... I am amazed of these animals too
Well they got a meal
Where's the violent content that you warned us about??
These dogs must be on boosters cause their energy levels never seem to go down so vicious no mercy
Yeaa some guy did a professional repot on the dogs come to find out lions have the weight chetahs have the speed wild dogs have the endurance so they chase whatever down to death guy said something like they can run 3-5 miles with out getting exhausted 🤣🤣
its crazy how much I used to loathe these creatures and now I adore them
They all cramming their heads in that small area of the abdomen lol
the impala was so stupid he had twenty minutes to escape but he choose not to
your camera must be VHS , no zoom in
Why are the dogs hiding the Impala from the camera? I didn't see nutting! Ugh!
Is the impala ok?
did the impala know that he would be eaten alive if caught?
They bite and tear in every direction until meat comes off.
The wild dogs guide the impala to the "safe" place
“String him up boys”
Why don’t wild dogs like water? 🤔
According to Professor Alphas Schprinkelweis from the University of the North, the wild dog has a very strong jaw similar to a Phosphoric Rat.
The dogs knew there were no crocks. Only reason they went in.
Why impala cannot get to the other side of the lake?????
Damn, dogs! Leave some room for dessert.
Yo!!! I didn't know wild dogs got down like that. Holy shit.
these dam pac of wild dogs are faster and better than magicians
リカオン小さいけど、みんなで頑張る姿が凄い好きです!かわいいです!
Very fast eaters
Very interesting. If there were crocodiles or hippos in the water, the dogs will not go in the water. Amazing to see them organized to drag their food on land for a more practical feeding.
The camera was to far away!
So many freaking Jaws. Once they had it on land, they literally swarmed it until buried and ate the living hell out of it until it was nothing! I Can't even pinpoint when the impala died, what a way to go. Should of made a run for it when the first dog went to go get the pack.
Would love to see an aerial shot from directly overhead.
Support your local coast gaurd
I have noted several times that these guys are hydrophobic. May be hunger really brought them inside the water for long or there were no crocs in this dam
Got to hand it to the dogs, they never gave up.
hunger
FROM A EXPERT: IMPALAS ARE THE SMARTEST ANIMALS IN THE KINGDOM
The Crocodole was the Impalas only hope to attack the wild dogs and save him

リカオンが泳いでいるところ初めて見た😵草食動物が水中に逃げるのは、リカオンの捕食から逃れるためかと思った!リカオンは水中でも襲うのね☺
can someone explain to me one thing ? - these wild dogs are extremely formidable hunters and 80% of their hunts are successful - my question is : why are they on the endangered list ?
Johnny Rotten That's a really good question... 🤔🤔🤔
Johnny Rotten tha habitat is getting smaller and smaller! Now they have to share an small habitat with bigger hunters as lions and hyenas. Sometime when they hunt their food is snatched by a lion! Lions also like to kill wild dogs and hyenas cubs! Lions see them as their competitors!
😱😩😥😭😭
Rhinos at 7:19 sipping their water and wishing they weren’t vegans.
Good upload! FYI. From the title people know what they're getting into so the numerous warnings were a bit much.
thos hippos are like DAYM
😭😂😂😂
people hate these bc hey're so savage and eat/rip their prey apart, yet no one complains about alligators, crocodiles, bald eagles, etc. total bias bc most people heard from someone else the dogs suck wrongfully persecuted.
7:00 trying to stick their faces into 1 relatively small spot or opening lol
Omg.....
