Drones on the fiddle

Drones are open-string notes played at the same time as melody notes, either on the string below or the string above. The drone may last just for one or two notes, or for several bars. In this fiddle lesson I explain how to select drone notes, and which keys are most suitable. I use Turkey in the Straw as an example.
