Pretty much anything off of Anthropocene. Aside from that, I really like A Living Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat, Finish Them, In Axestasy, and much more. Hard to go wrong with Cattle Decap, even if the earlier stuff isn’t up your alley!
@jojoplaysmusic yeah, I think thr band really hit their stride on that album, they had moments of brilliance before that (Chunk Blower, Alone at the Landfill, Humanuer, etc), but Harvest Floor is where everything just clicked. Regret and the Grave remains my favorite song by them.
MORE people need to sub to you man. You put all this effort to learn and play all these crazy hard riffs (cause let's be fair this band ain't no walk in the park no matter what album) just to showcase the greatness of the band, the effort behind it alone is really impressive! Even if it's a band with easy songs the effort of doing something like this still impresses me.
First of all, you're a psyco!!!!! Josh Elmore would be super proud. Like I'm the biggest cattle decap fan ever. I know every single song and I play guitar. But nah. My brain would explode trying to attempt this. The song choices you decided to pick are fire!!! It's insane. Mad respect and much love!!!!
At a concert of their's about 2 years ago I saw a guy in mosh, in the span of about 5 minutes, concuss someone and completely halt the mosh whilst holding a fucking walking stick up in the air trying to find it's owner before handing it to Travis
How you play "Bring Back the Plague" is how I think it should be played, but I'm not good enough to figure it out myself. All the tabs for it on Ultimate Guitar look wrong. I expected it to have at least one guitar playing a single-note melody, but people keep tabbing it out as if both guitars are playing chords. So I finally got Ultimate Guitar to write an official tab, and they also tabbed it out as if both guitars are playing chords, and they made it look wack af. The intro riff obviously sounds to me like one guitar playing chords and one playing a melody. If I was just a tad better at sounding stuff out, I would tab it myself because everyone keeps getting it wrong. You're playing it though like how I think it should be played.
So what are your favorite Cattle Decap songs?

@@wallbarr I love Death Atlas and Monolith of Inhumanity but I have to agree, there's just something really special about Anthropocene
@@pergproductions Oh absolutely. There’s something about the atmosphere of that album that is super unnerving alongside the unrelenting heaviness.
Plagueborne might be my top track still, just felt so cool and apocalyptic when i first heard it
All of them lol from their demo Ten Torments of The Damned to Terrasite lol
People really seem to forget they were putting out great and complex music before Monolith of Humanity. Great showcase of those moments!
Oh for sure, but I think they really reached that next level when Dave joined the band. My favorite album of theirs is “The Harvest Floor”.
Yes, however, early on they were still a fairly basic goregrind/death grind band, even with the complexities.
Karma Bloody Karma

Im just happy cattle as a whole is getting the repect they deserve.
I never was into Cattle Decap that much , gotta change. Killer playing and straight forward to 10k subs !
Thank you so much man! Getting there, slow and steady. Yes! You should definitely check out some more Cattle Decap.
Nice!
Thanks Farvann!
Josh is such a sick guitarist.
Btw, just noticed that EZ-8 figure. The best Gundam.
You have a good eye on you
I cant believe im just now finding out this band only tunes half a step down. Thags actually insane how brutal these riffs are in such a high tuning
Well Josh does use a Digitech whammy to pitchshift to 1 or 2 octaves down, but it’s not that often.
@@jojoplaysmusicHe does that in the outro of Lifestalker. :)

Thank you so much! I really truly appreciate it!
The main problem is: you're becoming addicted to their music after 1 listening
Josh is just a monster riffer! Funny how he used all genres and techniques! Never really boxed himself into one area!
Extremely underrated guitarist too
Dude hell fucking yeah.🤘🤘
To Serve Man was my intro to Cattle
Decapitation. Those lows still go low
You gonna do a Cephalic Carnage video maybe a Krisiun or Flesh God Apocalypse? Either way keep shredding 🤘🤘
Dude you killed it! I think my fav cattle songs are Gristle Licker, Life Stalker, Times Cruel Curtain, Solastalgia to name a few.
Gristle Licker is an underrated one
Josh Elmore is one of my favorite guitarists ever, he's so underrated.
Whoever writes these Riffs is a Riff Genius
shoutout Josh Elmore
Бро, отдельный респект от рашн гайзов... Мощьно, очень мощьно... Так держать мабой🤜🏻🤛🏻🤘🏻

cattle decap is one of those bands that just got heavier with time. great playing man 🤘🤘
I could feel the emotion in this! The one song that was all chords you were so into it i love this. Keep showing us what you can do .
Based Duskull pfp.
Impressive.
What got me the most was that you managed to get riffs right from Human Jerky and Homovore. Which are freaking hard to even decipher.
Yeah I had to pick the easiest ones so I could actually figure them out.
Great vid. You should try Absolute Destitute, the opening riffs is so good! And man your playing is amazing
I never noticed how beautiful some of these riffs just sound on their own, well made video as always dude
Excellent riff showcase man! Cattle Decap kicks ass. Digging the new album \m/
For a band that's been around as long as they have, I feel like they're only getting better.
At a concert of their's about 2 years ago I saw a guy in mosh, in the span of about 5 minutes, concuss someone and completely halt the mosh whilst holding a fucking walking stick up in the air trying to find it's owner before handing it to Travis
How old are you bro?? You fucking killed this shit for real!
you killed it bud. great work. great video. keep it up
Amazing!
god this reminds me how much I love this band so much. I love every era of theirs. thank you
Respect!
Whenever people say the only way to play super heavy music is with low tunings, I casually remind them that Cattle Decap plays in E Flat.
siiiiiiiiick man. Nice!!
i think Josh Elmore would be proud!
Respect, master 🤘
This guy is living my best life

"Official" tabs from UG are a joke lol.
you did them some justice! Great stuff man
I really dig your anthology vids of riffs across entire band catalog. Dredges up a lot of memories!
Great job man!!
such an unbelievably good band. great video man
Thank you!
You're so good brother 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 what a band, I had to add Terrasite to my cd collection on release date. Such a great album
Your contant never dissepoints. U are my favorit influencer and give me many ideas with my own songs.
I'm so glad I got to see these guys live, their riffs like coke.
One listen and you're hooked.
I would like to see a riff journey by japanese Band Blood Stained Child. How the band changed over years is very intersting 😊
Love it. Fantastic performance, young man. Keep killing it!!
The effort and time you are putting into this videos is crazy ! Sick playing and riff choices 🤘
Nice job man, keep it up.
always enjoy these vids👍🦾
FANTASTIC work!
You are so good bro, well done 🤘🤘
So glad this was done man, great job!

Sick video bro
Fuckingg epic dude
Nice chains for the video it looks brutally flexing
Fashion is my passion oh yeah
Gotta rep the sponsor
I will always love this band for being able to make a song about pooping and farting sound evil and epic.
That GorGuts T though...
Uuuh ya te delató el módem de Telmex paisa jajaja saludos desde Riviera Maya
You moved to Nolly I see :D. You're getting some bad-ass tone with this one too. What did you used for the DrumKit if I may ask?
It’s the EZDrummer 2 Prog kit with drumforge for the kicks. I actually blended in the omega Granophyre too for that punchy low end!
@@jojoplaysmusic Are you using the IRs from Neural or something else? Or no IRs?
So when you gonna become their third guitarist?! 🤯🤯🤘🏻
Naaaaaahh there’s some weird CD songs that I don’t think I could play.
Thoughts on the new album?
🤘
@jojoplaysmusic
What was the hardest Cattle song to play ? I have a bitch of a time as bass player lol
Ripe Beneath The Rind is the hardest to decipher.
Oh I think you can Deeds of Flesh. You’ve got the chops.
They're latest releases are bit above my education level, but I'll see what I can do.
Imo forced gender is on par with hammer smashed face as the best death metal song in the history of music.
Can u make video on how to get cattle decap guitar tone ?
Vulturous is one of my favorite and underrated as hell. Brutal n beautiful at the same time.
The anthropocene album has the best riffsssssss
Cattle Decaps old stuff sounded kinda gore grindy imo. Wasn't a fan until the harvest floor and beyond.
Rip Gabe Serbian
Deeds of flesh riff journey
Oh, you forgot 1996's album, ten torments of the damned
That's much more a demo, the only people left after its recording were Serbian and Astor and they switched instruments and genres
sorry to be that guy but when are you gonna go through Gorguts?
Gorguts rulez \m/
Gotta get rid of that George Michaels hair cut and keep growing that hair man 😂 all jokes aside good job on the riffs 🤘
Ngl I kinda wanna make that George Michaels hairstyle my own
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🫶🏻
Awesome playing, Cattle Decap' are awesome live, too. Go vegan.
Tabs plz i beg
ништяк, ёптэ
Goated yt channel btw 🤟🤟 if I could afford, you’d be the first channel I’d sub on Patreon.
Tuning
Play Transmetal songs broo mexican band. Saludos
i actually hate that Mute Rain riff lol, sounds just weird in a bad way
I love it cause it's weird and groovy
Sick riffs man, Decap are my fave.
Sick af!!!!!
Now do it for bass.
