We lived in my home and I was smart enough to get a prenuptual. After my son was born, my husband admitted to being a serial cheater, and gave up his well paying job and refused to work or look after our son so I could work. I could not afford to pay my mortgage, or amenities. I lost my jobs and my home was repossessed. My husband left. I did not choose to be a single mother and claim welfare so please do not tar everyone with the same brush. It is bad enough relying on taxpayers money without it being rammed down your throat by people like you.
