I just realized something, when Audrey feels extreme positive emotion or thoughts (like love) her eyes glow blue while when Victor gets extremely angry his glow red
It's used to make their eyes "sparkle" or become expressive. It's a pretty clever trick the way it's stylized here. I don't recall anything using this trick quite this way. Audrey's natural eye color is blue while Victor's natural eye color is red. They will get color for any expression as seen in Literally Hitler
i asked a question along the same lines as this during one of Joe's streams. he simply said it was their eye color, but im glad that more people are noticing these details.
Joe really went from making silly animations to making a fun animated series...I'm so proud of him. Edit: its been a while since I tuned into Joe's channel so idk anything he's been up to
I really like how this animation captures the odd habits we had as kids. Stuff like Audrey losing her balance while avoiding the bug she almost stepped on or correcting herself mid-sentence, (I still do that a lot even now).
The constant “or somethings” are really good too, attempting to convey a message but being self aware enough to be unsure if they’re using the rig language is very endearing
Audrey in this to Viktor is legit what it's like to be a lad that's best friends with a girl in school. Their mission is to set you up with another girl, and in my experience and weirdly good at picking girls that mix with you, as in even if the relationship don't last, you enjoyed your time for the most part. Also it does not go other way, I am terrible at setting people up. But Joe, I NEED MORE, 3 episodes in 10 years is not enough

I actually really enjoy this cartoon. Can't wait for more.. if there is more coming soon... :) I wish this was a full time cartoon :D This has nice voice acting as well. And I like the simple and effective music. Can't wait for the next episode. It just this reminds me of the simplistic joy I once had as a child. And these characters are really great. Audrey reminds me of my happier and child like self from years ago and Victor reminds me of sorta how I am now. Very nervous and somewhat shy. I'm happy these two personalities can bring such positive light.

There’s this girl I’ve known practically all my life that I’ve developed a crush for. Exactly last year, on valentines day, I gave her a box of chocolates and told her how I felt about her. She gave the chocolates back near the end of the day. She didn’t say she didn’t want them, just that she “couldn’t take them.” I don’t know what she meant from that to this day. This girl is Indian, her family is very conservative. I think the ending would make more sense if the last thing Audrey sang was something like "There's no need to rush, so tell me if you have a crush" And then he yelled "No!" And then the camera panned over and you see Vera in the doorway implying she heard the whole last part, and then she walks away dejected, implying that she was attracted to Victor but now thinks he can't have a crush on her. I think Vera having a crush on Victor is canon, because why else would she be leaving the school when class must be starting soon unless she wanted to approach him? ...But what is the meaning of the money in her hand? As it is, I think the point is that Vera was attracted to Victor but now doesn't like him because she saw him yelling at his sister. She's thinking; "Wow, he's so rude. Not boyfriend material." It shows that Victor's antagonistic nature is getting in the way of being loveable, and the rejection Victor feels is made worse by his realization of that fact. He must feel so ashamed.

The way he says "Way to go" makes me laugh every time i watch this.
I think the ending would make more sense if the last thing Audrey sang was something like "There's no need to rush, so tell me if you have a crush" And then he yelled "No!" And then the camera panned over and you see Vera in the doorway implying she heard the whole last part, and then she walks away dejected, implying that she was attracted to Victor but now thinks he can't have a crush on her.
I think Vera having a crush on Victor is canon, because why else would she be leaving the school when class must be starting soon unless she wanted to approach him? ...But what is the meaning of the money in her hand?
As it is, I think the point is that Vera was attracted to Victor but now doesn't like him because she saw him yelling at his sister. She's thinking; "Wow, he's so rude. Not boyfriend material." It shows that Victor's antagonistic nature is getting in the way of being loveable, and the rejection Victor feels is made worse by his realization of that fact. He must feel so ashamed.

@@geocraftsman I kind of start to see why both endings are equally acceptable. They both make sense to me. The first one is because of facial shock. And the second is more because when the camera is on her she looks back and forth between him and his sister. Good animation nonetheless tho
