Cracking video....just as it is!!! ...stacked from floor to ceiling with all kinds of goodies.....try and catch Jim out by asking for a real oddity....Bet he can find it in a flash and that goes for pre-loved items too....A truly wonderful shop and a great guy....Cheers.Jim.
many thanks Jim, much appreciated! ..i usually go Tuesdays...say hello to Jim for me and enjoy the brew ...i'll tell him to get the Trix out cheers, dave
You filmed the Locoshed perfectly Dave shown every single inch of this fabulous Model Railway Shop and goes to show that yes it is the Best in the Northwest if not in the country. Come and see for yourselves. Cheers to Dave of Manchester South for highlighting this amazing model railway shop. Nick Redshed.
many thanks Nick for your very kind comments and your input in the video !! ...much appreciated !!..the only thing thats hard to video is the amazing service you get which makes it more than just a "shop",and to experience that you have to visit the shop, and hopefully many more will do that in the future!!! all the best, dave
Fantastic place, my local's similar, it's down in Cardiff. I love to support my local shops in all my hobbies, only buy mail order if I can't get what I want in my local. (Some transfers and detailing parts mainly) even then I try to get them at a local model show first. Mail order is always a last resort. Oh, and thanks for subscribing to my channel, Cheers Rich
many thanks for commenting Rich, its much appreciated!!..you're right, we have to support these shops..they are getting very rare!.. thanks again, dave
I agree, Jim and the crew are really genuine and helpful. A really great place to buy models and always happy to help with chipping and the second hand section is the best around.😊
A great tour of Jim's shop, you know I go there for the brews, banter, testing the trains and the great discounts he gives you as a regular, all the best Rog.

Hi Dave, Nice to see other places to buy trains and the thing with these types of shops you can see and inspect the items you might buy. Two questions for you no.1 is this shop competitive on price with Hattons and the like because small shops can not get the discounts due to numbers ordered but I still buy from them as you can see the item as I said earlier and no.2 did you buy anything on the visit?. Great video and thanks for taking me & 92 others with you. Cheers Robert.
many thanks for your great comments Robert!..regarding prices,to be honest i go to The Locoshed for the service, friendliness, help, advice, the test layout, the brews lol, the chat, the banter, meeting people ive got to know,..i think you get the picture!...the video was filmed over a number of visits,..my last purchase, and yet to be filmed was a new Hornby Class 66!..glad you enjoyed the visit,.. all the best, dave
Hi Dave, Thank you so much for the reply look forward to seeing what 66 you bought and your shop has a lot more going for it than my local (20 miles away) shop but mine I think has more variety as they have to interest more different types of people. Cheers Robert.

Hi Dave. Good tour - looks like they've got the lot. Often, these model shops are competitive or even beat the big internet retailers. Alan.
