You obviously only watched the movie and not read the books because If you read the books you would have learned that Horace slughorn/potions professor duelled Voldemort and lived that would mean he is an expert duelist which would mean if he was able to fight lord Voldemort and live would make his wand ver very powerful

Everybody knew that the elder wand would be in first place! Also, this was more about the strength of the wizard than the wand, for example snape’s... we don’t know what his wand was made of or what it’s core was, but it made Snape very powerful!
The power of the user of the wand is allways a important factor. Like when Voldemort used the Elder Wand... He showed some mighty power with it even tough it wasn't his wand. But yeah, this list is pretty much based on that i'd say. Because there are wands in the Harry Potter Universe that are way more powerful then all the ones on this list aside from number 1 wich i think is the only one that is placed in the correct place. Harry's and Voldemort's wand both would probably be on this list since they are of a rare type. But the rest i doubt a little to be honest.
I know! In the video he made it sound like it was all the was all the wand doing it. Like, for example, Snape and Mcgonagall wweren't powerful, it was all their wands doing the work when they fought each other. A wand only enhances a wizards natural strength. Searching for the Deathly Hallows and dabbling in the dark arts are two separate things. Dumbledore was the one pushing towards the "For the Greater Good" policy, it was Grindelwald who dabbled in the dark arts (having been expelled from Durmstrang). Not going to say Dumbledore never used the Killing Curse during the First Wizarding War, but it was not a part of his usual selection of spells. He was especially aware of how the dark arts corrupts and destroys people, especially people like Dumbledore who above all else desire power.
The Elder Wand was never Snape's so it was never Voldemort's. The wand was actually Draco's cause he disarmed Dumbledore before Snape killed him. And then it was Harry's cause he disarmed Draco
Harry Potter is foolish for breaking the elder wand. Just because you have power you don’t have to use it but you should keep it in case something bad happens In the books he doesn’t break the elder wand

You know, before my subbox fully refreshed, I've read only the "10 most powerful Wands" text in the title and my first thought was: "Wait, am I subscribed to a porn channel?" :D :D :D
VariantComics I swear at the end of The Deathly Hallows, Harry finds out that his og wand was the most powerful, even more powerful than the Elder Wand, so he uses the Elder wand to repair his one, thereby giving him the most powerful wand
He doesn't find out his wand is more powerful, he just prefers his old wand and doesn't want the power that comes with the elder wand. Also, no wand other than the elder wand would have been able to repair harry's wand
Actually I would like to correct this theory grindelwald was never the owner of the elder wand as he stole it he didn't defeat or kill the previous owner but do u know who killed the previous owner before grindelwald voldermorts therefore he was in control of the wand
I've read the books numerous times and I was never under the impression that one wand is stronger than the other with the obvious exception of the elder wand. Other than that it's always the power of the user plus their relationship with the wand that determine ho powerful their spells are.
He's ranking the wands not the wizard, which doesn't make sense in the first place tbh, the elder wand is the only wand who's defined as more powerful, as for the others they are as powerful as the wizard who's using them, so you can rank the wizards but not the wands
mogonigal(?) didnt use her wand to transform into a cat tho..... she was an animagus, thats got nothing to do with the wand unless im very much mistaken
The elder wand didn't seem to give Dumbledore any sort of advantage over Voldemort during the battle in the ministry. They seemed to be evenly matched. The only evidence of the elder wands power was its ability to repair Harry's wand at the end of Book 7.
The elder wand was not created by death that is just a fairy tale it is actually created by the eldest of the three brothers and this is mentioned in harry potter and the deathly hallows book.
I really don't think that Sirius's wand should count as powerful just because he defeated Lucius with it. That is merely showing off the level of skill that Sirius had. Also, Snape using the killing curse on Dumbledor? Any wand could have done that. It's what the spell does. I have no doubt that Snape's wand is powerful, but not because of that. Also, I'm having trouble seeing Mcgonagall as having a powerful wand just because she knows a lot of interesting spells, same with Hermione. You started this by stating that the wand's power is a combination of 3 things, not just the feats of the wizards wielding them. As far as I've been able to tell, Sirius, Mcgonagall and Hermione are all talented wizards with average wands, possible Snape and Lucius as well. In fact, the only wands we can be sure are truly powerful are the ones owned by Harry and Voldimort as well as the elder wand.
Pretty good list. It seems to be based mostly on the movies. Where was your source for wand lore and who owned what? I would include Molly Weasley's wand, for she was also battling Bellatrix LeStrange and bested her, defeating her with a very powerful spell that killed Bellatrix (I assume the killing curse, but, like in the death of Sirius Black, there was no green light and no verbal spell. I don't think the books say, either.) The witch or wizard is vital to this mutual quest in magic. And you might consider the bond between them and their wands. Working for The Ministry of magic requires people with very strong magic, like the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad and memory modification. Security like in the Quidditch World Cup. And maybe even being Minister of Magic themself. Hagrid's wand was snapped when he was accused and sent to Azkaban and expelled. But he kept the two halves together in his umbrella, and it still did magic for him. Ron's, in the other hand, being no more than seven years old (Percy's old wand) did not survive. After snapping from the Whopping Willow incident, he couldn't get the halves to work after he spellotaped them together. This also might be due to being less than compatible with Ron, because it was a hand - me - down and wasn't truly one and the wand had not chosen him. But Hagrid's lasted fifty years and longer. Even Harry Potter's Holly and Phoenix Feather wand broke when subject to Hermione's spell against Nagini. So I'd place Hermione and her wand a little higher, close to HP with his H&PF feather. (I just now noticed the wand and wizard name connection.) The Elder Wand is indeed quite powerful. And in a way quite weak. It can be bent to the allegiance of anyone, including relatively benign witches and wizards (to wit, Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape, and even Harry Potter himself). In contrast, Bellatrix's could be considered very powerful because of its unyielding nature, because any witch or wizard who does magic well (and there wasn't a spell that "our Hermione" couldn't do) should be able to use any wand for magic. Yet the wand would not yield to Hermione much at all.
harry potters wand should take number two. voldemort only went after the elder wand when his own failed on numerous occasions to defeat harrys. Dumbledore later explained to harry his wand when locked with voldemorts took some of its power. later if you remember harrys wand even overpowered voldemorts enough to break it cracking it down the side
This should he top 10 most powerful wizards not wands. Wands are only ad powerful as the Witch/Wizard that wields it. The Elder Wand aside of course. It's the most powerful because it actually cannot be defeated against if the rightful owner is using it. Other than that no Wand guarantees power, only the owner. The wood and cores offer some differences but it mostly comes down the the owner. If you wield another wizards Wand it will not be as powerful as yours. "The Wand chooses the wizard"
This list seems more like a rundown of powerful witches and wizards rather than wands. We only know about the Elder wand being powerful. I'm sure there are other powerful wands but that info wasn't pertinent to the story.
Using your criteria in the video, primarily the magical power of the wizard. You completely over looked the wand of Flitwick. Not only is Flitwick the Charms Master and Head of Ravenclaw, he is a Master Duelist who held the title of Champion. He is also able to cast spells without his wand. The only other you see do this is Dumbledore. Though this may be because of Flitwick's goblin ancestry.
it is mentioned in the books and its also stated by olivander that its bad to use just something you find cool to have in your wand and supposedly doesnt live up to his three favorite cores.
Mines Yew Wood Phoenix Feather Core, 10 3/4 inches and sligthly springy. Apparently, its really hard to master but when you do master it, its a very powerful wand. Usually for people attracted to the dark arts. I'm not making things up either this is what is says on Pottermore about my wand :)
Fun fact for those who didn't read the books: Harry doesn't actually break the Elder Wand like shown in the last movie, but instead uses it to repair his original wand which was broken, and then returns it in Dubmledore's tomb.
he was actually not dead thru ll the films/books, in the movie dumbeldore and harry had an disscution about him and that he will die if they destroy the stone ( you know witch one i mean im just not that good att spelling so i dont know how to spell i, and id like if you could corect me on some words, tnks)
So the wand of gellert? The only person that was able to defeat him was Albus and what of Albus's original wand. Not the elder he later gained . Also what of the wand of the various Ministers of magic from time to time and the wands of members of the order ... after all theses witches and wizards that I listed are literally the strongest in wizarding world therefore the face remarkable opponents and should all fill this list alone
There are wands that are made of rare powerful cores, but the wand is only as good as the wizard who wields it, the elder wand although very powerful, was wielded by very prodigious owners like Grindelwald and Dumbledore who were already very powerful wizards on their own.
where are you supposed to vote again? I'll gladly vote for comic book stuff to be on the comic book channel. =]. I aint got time to watch the end of videos.

I think we all know that Ron had the most powerful wand.
Jacob Day 😂
Jacob Day well in his second year it did beat a highly rewarded wizard in a duel...

The Elder Wand was never Snape's so it was never Voldemort's. The wand was actually Draco's cause he disarmed Dumbledore before Snape killed him. And then it was Harry's cause he disarmed Draco
RAZORWING
And if you read the books this comment in useless
GoldenGreninja PlatinumPikachu exactly
Harry Potter is foolish for breaking the elder wand. Just because you have power you don’t have to use it but you should keep it in case something bad happens
In the books he doesn’t break the elder wand
or if he truly wanted to break it he could have fixed his wand before destroying the elder one
@@gauthiervanhoutte9399 In the book,he fixed his wand with the elder wand.I'm not sure whether or wether not he broke it in the book.I don't remember exactly.
@@serban8298 yeah i know i read the book and that's why i said it but i wonder why he didn't do it in the films
He didn’t break it in the books he put it back in dumbledores grave
I like the books better than the movies
actually Snape never was the owner of the elder wand it was draco malfoy 's because malfoy disarmed dumbledore
Max Reynolds nobody knew this until you said
are you being sarcastic
Max Reynolds yup
new it
Max Reynolds This was all explained by Harry in the final book/movie

The wand was Dummbledore's but then Draco disarmmed Dummbledore so it was Draco's but then Harry disarmmed Draco so, it was Harry's and the wand did not want to kill its master
The book ending is better............. In the book harry puts the wand back with Dumbledore.
And revives his own wand.
He never breaks it in the book. He puts it in Dumbledore's tomb so when he dies, it will have allegiance to no-one.
Joshua arnett enless someone disarmed harry
After he killed Voldemort, he lost his immortality and he was immortal because of his mother's love, both when she died and after Voldemort got his own body back in book 4
escaper59 I know pretty much everyone knows this, but I meant to say that Voldemort tethered Harry to life.
You know, before my subbox fully refreshed, I've read only the "10 most powerful Wands" text in the title and my first thought was: "Wait, am I subscribed to a porn channel?" :D :D :D

Well, not into wands. That's the reason why I was surprised. Or one of the reasons, anyway. :D

You mean Voldemort? :D
This is... odd, but i still enjoyed it
VariantComics I swear at the end of The Deathly Hallows, Harry finds out that his og wand was the most powerful, even more powerful than the Elder Wand, so he uses the Elder wand to repair his one, thereby giving him the most powerful wand
He doesn't find out his wand is more powerful, he just prefers his old wand and doesn't want the power that comes with the elder wand. Also, no wand other than the elder wand would have been able to repair harry's wand
Harry also places the wand back with Dumbledore in the book because he knows it can never be won unless someone defeats him.
Do some research........ Grindelwald was equally powerful as voldemort if not more powerful
true that!
Nope Grindelwald is weaker than lord Voldemort, Voldemort is admitted as the most powerful dark wizard
But Grindelwald's powers are mostly from the Elder Wand
@@unuboldlakechoros7040 Depends on the wizard and not the wand when you are talking about dark magic.
Melvin * dumbledore fears grindewald not Voldemort
did he say those stone soldiers were patronuses? wth
Johnny Gadget and anyway those ston3 golems were made by The Founders to protect Castle and Students
But Voldemort didn’t own the Elder Wand Draco did since he has disarmed Dumbledore
But Harry Disarmed Draco which is the new owner is Harry
Yep
I have the elder wand
Actually I would like to correct this theory grindelwald was never the owner of the elder wand as he stole it he didn't defeat or kill the previous owner but do u know who killed the previous owner before grindelwald voldermorts therefore he was in control of the wand
LOL EVERYONE IS Arguing over who the elder wand belongs to 😂
technically Draco Malfoy was the master of the wand and Harry gained it when he beat Malfoy

The elder wand was never destroyed. Harry repaired his own wand and put the elder wand in the Dumblerdore's grave.
Read the books!
In the movies he did
Nice anglish
(Joke)
Andreea Morgenstern your right
I personally found it real dumb that they decided to destroy it on the movies
It was nice to see something different for a change. Thanks Arris.
Dumbledore's first wand must be pretty powerful to come into posession of the elder wand in the first place.
I've read the books numerous times and I was never under the impression that one wand is stronger than the other with the obvious exception of the elder wand. Other than that it's always the power of the user plus their relationship with the wand that determine ho powerful their spells are.
Yes, as voldemort says to snape in deathly hallows, no i am an extraordinary wizard, the wand is only showing my power, not its true power
What about molly weaslys wand cuz she killed Bellatrix
Matthew DeLuca u r right
Matthew DeLuca bellatrix just didnt take her seriously and was even laughing during thier duel which cost her her life
He's ranking the wands not the wizard, which doesn't make sense in the first place tbh, the elder wand is the only wand who's defined as more powerful, as for the others they are as powerful as the wizard who's using them, so you can rank the wizards but not the wands
Leif Gw Persson I think it's also the power of love
mogonigal(?) didnt use her wand to transform into a cat tho.....
she was an animagus, thats got nothing to do with the wand unless im very much mistaken
Minerva McGonagall - I only remember that because I once went on a skying on a slope that was called that way. xD
I never was very good at spelling shit aha thx
Thomas McAteer You spelt shit just fine. lmao
Safe bro
was mogonigal an animagus??? i thought she was the transfirguation teacher as that was her expertise?
**Elder wand is first** Me: yeah we all knew it was coming
duh
Yeah really it's best wand
So not Ron's. seriously it was ridiculously powerful will the duct tape
It's actually a great wand if you are it's first owner and you don't give it to someone else
Snape should be higher.
D JLA M ik
D JLA M idiot u r
D JLA M bmth
not his wand tho
The elder wand didn't seem to give Dumbledore any sort of advantage over Voldemort during the battle in the ministry. They seemed to be evenly matched. The only evidence of the elder wands power was its ability to repair Harry's wand at the end of Book 7.
Love that if the wizard is good he thinks the wand is. He said when mogonagal turned into a cat he said it was power from her wand🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣
in the book harry used the elder wand to fix his phoenix feather wand
Hey Arris, could you please do a video on either the 10 Most Powerful Lightsabers or objects in the Marvel Universe??
How come Draco's wand isn't in the list? It's the wand that killed Voldemort!!!!
Marcos Balbi how he killed Voldemort explain this to me pls
Pavlos Tsatsoulis harry defeated voldemort with draco's wand..
Pavlos Tsatsoulis Harry defeated voldemort with Draco's wand..
Marcos Balbi ok thx
Marcos Balbi no bruh the elder wand can’t kill its true owner that’s why harry won
I always imagine my chopstick was a powerful wands ever 😂😂 you know that have some decorate on it

VariantComics ok.....
i will be waiting for that 😁😁
VariantComics Yes!!!!!

It's not so special, and I hated the young Gohan (one before Vegeta came to earth)
The elder wand was not created by death that is just a fairy tale it is actually created by the eldest of the three brothers and this is mentioned in harry potter and the deathly hallows book.
wait i thought that was a theroy
im in love with u, it is. 😕
a gaaameee theory
In the book it says Dumbledore believed that the peveral brothers were extremely gifted powerful wizards that created the hollows.
Actually death created it because the eldest brother asked for it as his gift so death did create the elder wand
The Elder wand has a Thestral tail hair making it very powerful
I agree, any non broken wands can kill any wizard. The fact that Snape killed Dumbledore with the killing curse doesn't make his wand good.
Alastor Moody's wand? He used it imprison more than half of azakaban
August The Magic King His wand is a fucking cane.
I don't think the books say, either.)
The witch or wizard is vital to this mutual quest in magic.
(I just now noticed the wand and wizard name connection.)
The Elder Wand is indeed quite powerful.
Autocorrect I'd plaguing me today.
ginnyjollykidd This is the longest RUclips comment I've ever seen!!!
ginnyjollykidd
Molly didn’t actually use the killing curse she just used Petrifacus Totalus and then used Bombardo
harry also used the elder wand to fix his own holly phoenix feather cored one.
You're not ranking wands here (except the Elder Wand) you're ranking the wizards who wield them.
harry potters wand should take number two. voldemort only went after the elder wand when his own failed on numerous occasions to defeat harrys. Dumbledore later explained to harry his wand when locked with voldemorts took some of its power. later if you remember harrys wand even overpowered voldemorts enough to break it cracking it down the side
The elder wand is only as powerful and skillful as its user
It's how dumbledore defeated grindelwald had the elder wand but wasn't skillful because he got expelled from durmstrang
grindelwald was skillful l dumbledore even said that he only was a slightly more skillful than grindelwald
That ad tho... best part of the video.
Tbh Ron’s broken one is prob the most powerful he used it to defeat Lockhart without trying.
Daniel Taylor apparently duhmboldore defeated grindelwald while grindelwald had the elder wand.
^
The power of wizards sometimes is confused with wand
Animagus transformation does not require wands..
This is what happens when u refer to the stupid movies.
There's another wand core type: villa hair, it's not mentioned within the books/movies but it is a core available
Maybe you should read The Goblet of Fire again, sir.
Veela actually is mentioned in the books.
Thestral were completely missed, too.
Oh. Jan just said so. Meh. Lul
and there's a basilisk core too ... slytherin has one ...
it is mentioned in the books and its also stated by olivander that its bad to use just something you find cool to have in your wand and supposedly doesnt live up to his three favorite cores.
My want is ebony wood, dragon heartstring, 13 inches, and quite bendy flexability.
horny
Could've just said a magical dildo
Rhiannon Kleppang okay broette
You know ebony is one of the most rigid wand woods right xD
My wand is actually Birch wood with a Phoenix tail feather core! Don't remember everything else

My wand is apple wood, phoenix feathercore, 11 1/2 inches. I would say thats pretty good.
My wand is vine wood, dragon heartstring, 11 3/4", and slightly yielding flexibility
mine is just plywood with chicken feathers core, 4 1/2 inch.
S&S Productions Hawthorn, Unicorn Tail Hair, 12” Flexable
Mika Zilla lol
Did not see this coming

oh YOU...
if you think you know all about harry potter by whatching the movies then awnser this question: WHO'S PEEVES???!!!
BloxyNinja 3214 BRO THAT GUY IS THE GOAT kinda sucks he didn’t get incorporated
in the movie harry broke the wand and in the book he put back in Dumbledore's grave
It’s the encrutiatis curse. Yep I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan
Mad respect bro
No it’s not mate
If you were a REAL Harry Potter fan you would say potterhead
you can't go into someone's grave That worst thing I ever heard
Hermione Granger is that really you?
Drew Woudstra No, the real Hermione would have use proper capitalization and punctuation.
Syltherins wand deserves to be number 1 on this list. The elder wand is great and all, but Sytherins wand grew into a magic healing tree.
Anon ymous you are very right
This wasn't even close to accurate
This guy doesn’t know what je is talking about at all 😂
He only watched the movies
Before I watch it I guess the elder wand is 1
Fun fact for those who didn't read the books: Harry doesn't actually break the Elder Wand like shown in the last movie, but instead uses it to repair his original wand which was broken, and then returns it in Dubmledore's tomb.
Wish it was incorporated in the movie it would be much more impactful
Nicholas flammels wand?
(Dont care if its from fb)
FB was created after this video
he was actually not dead thru ll the films/books, in the movie dumbeldore and harry had an disscution about him and that he will die if they destroy the stone ( you know witch one i mean im just not that good att spelling so i dont know how to spell i, and id like if you could corect me on some words, tnks)
actually voldemort was unable to fully use the wand, as it was draco who won it from from dumbledor, then it passed to harry when harry disarmed him
Earl Francart you're wrong Harry killed Draco
Jim Bob omg
Nick Tayler YOU KNOW ITS TRUE BITCH
Jim Bob yes I do it all makes sense now
Nick Tayler you're gay u should watch the movies again because clearly u don't understand Harry Potter idiot
Therefore THEY face remarkable opponents ***typo
Watch 'The true path of the elder wand' by SuperCarlinBrothers on RUclips then you'll know why.
Albus gained the Elder wand from Gellert.
There are wands that are made of rare powerful cores, but the wand is only as good as the wizard who wields it, the elder wand although very powerful, was wielded by very prodigious owners like Grindelwald and Dumbledore who were already very powerful wizards on their own.
Elder Wand is my total fave, and both Voldy's and Bela's wand are a runner up for me
This isn't comic book related.
where are you supposed to vote again? I'll gladly vote for comic book stuff to be on the comic book channel. =]. I aint got time to watch the end of videos.
