Brother, I’ve been having that issue for a whole year and nothing new with the thermal valve. It had nothing to do with the idle air control valve and once I replaced every single thing, the knock sensor code was the only thing that popped up. I literally just bought one and I’m going to install it when I get home. I know your frustration, brother. I got a nice Paul Walker paint job our 34 and then this happened and I’m like great and the H22 is very sensitive.
Sorry to hear that. I'm glad you at least are getting closer to solving the problem and getting back to driving your car. It's very frustrating but I also learned more about the car so I can diagnose and fix better. Thank God. H22's are very sensitive when it comes to air leaks.
Its on the left side of the car under the intake. It's literally tucked right below the intake just try to pause the video where the photo is and see if you locate from there. I'll make a youtube short if you still need help. You have to look at it from an angle on the left side of the car and use a flashlight.
You have no idea how bad I needed this video 🙌
Glad it was helpful. You have no idea how much effort it took to learn everything to make this video😂
@@automotiveobsession7265it’s always appreciated man you’ve been my go to for everything w my 99 prelude 🙏🙌

Where did you get access to be able to touch the vacuum box under the manifold?
I was able to fit my hand through the space right in front of the brake booster and the intake manifold.

More content coming soon.
I think it’s called the IACV butterfly that’s under the intake
Maybe. It is close to the IACV so I guess that's why the symptoms were similar to a faulty IACV.
hey could you go back and show exactly where that photo at i cannot find it
