- G1GP - The Gaijin Drift Grand Prix is back for the first time since 2019. With over 50 drivers entering the famous foreigners only competition at EBISU in Japan we had a lot of challenges to face. With a difficult practice session in the morning with the JZX100 Mark ii my confidence was low until I put the head down and focused on having fun.
This is the most fun competition in the world and you can tell this by the amount of smiles and laughs throughout.

I said it on Chris’s video and i’ll say it here… yall absolutely showed out for that 3rd place battle! You both had great angle, speed and minimal corrections and absolutely killed the line! He even got your side skirt! Yall are an inspiration to make the investment and slide with yall at Ebisu! Also, the sportsmanship displayed by watching your videos, as well as Sammit’s, TJ’s, Chris’s, Rudnik’s… the list goes on… is the best! You all come from different countries and cultures.. but yet yall act like family.

It’s crazy how the stress of a competition just completely disappears when you are battling your friends.
The big epic backie was definitely a struggle this trip. With the new diff and adding more grip I had to really to change my driving style

@instaagrantt 10:56 not pissed at Kane. More myself and how comp drifting is. Remembering why I haven't done it since 2013. I couldn't follow his lead run when I was set up to go to outer zone one and he cut the track short. Rather save my shit for Matsuri. No one cares, good job!

Definitely quieter and a lot of people save the matsuri for the end of the season when they know they have spare cash.
I definitely need to focus more on getting that extra lil bit of content out and about! I will improve the next time in japan 🫡
