just getting down the 1/4 was a result, getting a PB and beating the merc was the icing on a positive day even tho you had to step down.petrolhedonism (i think thats right) really did something special here, as a viewer its great seeing everyone i follow and their perspective on the day

Use reinforced silicone pipe instead of rubber to stop it becoming elastic due to the molecular heat stretch.
That Jazz Type R was super clean and true to the concept 🫡

I always wondered why honda didn't make a fast stock Jazz, they could have built a jazz to perform like an EK9 with the size and weight of it, but nope, they made an old person's car to go to bingo in lol.

Have you the times of ur 3 different setups? I mean front engine, rear engine and both together
For coolant hoses use correct clamps as they maintain spring tension through heat cycles. This style of clamp doesn't maintain tension when it expands.

An old friend suped up a Toyota Glanza. Kept it looking like a grandad car from the outside. On the inside it was absolutely insane. It literally beat everything on the lights. Everything. Never saw a single car beat it.

0:35 I see both your lumps are under the hood. My mate has a Corsa B with 2 Red Tops coupled together but their in the back. He took it to Crail a few times then it sat gathering dust. I'll watch on, thanks for posting!

I can remember years ago seeing a 0-60 shootout. I switched my camera off when an old black Mk1 Corsa came to the line. I wish I hadn't because it did it in 2.8s. From what I recall it had two 2.5L v6 turbo engines in it. He complained that the gear linkage needed adjusting and a lack of power. I pointed out that the lack of power was because he had a silicone inlet pipe instead of a solid pipe. I only know this because my mate had the same issue - on the rolling road you could see the inlet pipe collapse when it came on boost (32psi).
@10:45 That 63 Mustang is AWESOME!....so why do the quarter vents look like they'd been sprayed yesterday with a different yellow? I would have thought with all that work, it would be perfect.

Do you have one gearbox or do you run two? How do you link them together so they select the same gear?
2 gearboxes, 1 gearstick and clutch pedal, check out our video on the twin to see it in detail
Two gearboxes. One shifter. They all link up and change gear at same time.

The pipe was swaged, you know what the pipe just go’s soft with head and will not grip. That’s what happened.

You could have turned that silicone hose around so the bad side was on the steel pipe and wouldn't have pushed back
The pipe had completely gone both ends
It didnt blow up or catch fire, so a successful day.

It's a piece of motoring / boating history, it needs to be renovated using a much of the original as possible. A restoration specialist would rebuild chassis and bodywork, i would hate to see it bastardize.

10.7 ? Is that at 1200hp? Cuz that's 911 turbo S times... which is quick ... but 1200hp potentially a corsa weighing about 900k and doing 10.7 is not exhilarating fast... but good job... 911 turbo s is 650hp. 1500kilos there about... awd
Corsa weighs 1250kg an no was on low boost. I have never made a full pass in the car until that one. An where still on 20 year old scrap tyres.
Loads to come, but as I say Rome wasent built in a day.

So now we have it straight. Dream run as goal at the moment is 9.9 on road legal tyres.

A tiny lottle corsa with so much power should be so much faster than this.
When it doesn’t go straight it’s hard to progress and feel safe doing so.
@@TwinEngineCorsaI agree with that, I don't even understand how it moves at all. I had a mk 2 uno turbo, couple bits done, it span up in 5th. And in the wet it was undriveable. Prob 300 brake max, maybe less. I can't understand how you can have so much power in such a small car, or why you would want to lol. I just want to see it be the fastest thing on the planet.

With all due respect, it’s a Matchbox with two engines. To reduce a supercar to these “benchmarks” makes no sense. If you go to Nürburgring , circuit or even at the highway and need to brake (or crash) more safely, Matchboxes are just that. But hey, I admire your work! It’s something special, even if I don’t like matchboxes, you did a heck of a job pulling that off! 👏
