I sew doll clothes tightly onto the body I usually have a patch line going through the back They’re fine just as long as you don’t look at the back I don’t like the idea of gluing the doll but my clothes don’t come off without scissors either I guess regular or hot glue would come off easy without damaging the doll
I was slow so I reloaded to see if anyone said anything, but no body did so I will! The rec with rectangles method is actually very classical! Like, I get being a bit silly about taking the simple way out, but all competent drafting is built out from squares anyway! from the grid of weave/knits, to the most functional drafting methods start out with a lot of clunky looking straight lines. It might be unneeded to say so, but the methods used here are well in line with drafting in flat.
The doll looks great, but you could have used Kitty Cheshire as a base, for a big toothy grin. Her or Claudia Wolf. Just for future reference, in case you ever want to do another character with physical teeth 😊
