When my eyes were younger I could thread like you. Now I have old eyes 😍sew I love the needle threader. It's easy to do. Your enthusiasm is wonderful. I have been embroidering since 1993 and I still love it. Enjoy your new baby.
I am glad you are doing things on a flat bed as well, it seems once someone gets a multi needle they forget about the flatbed and I get that a multi needle is so much quicker and easier hooping .Thank you for coming back to us who can not afford a multi needle machine ❤❤❤
Aww Brenda, You are so welcome!!! I want people no matter what size machine they have to be able to learn and make awesome things!! Thank you so much for your kind comment!
Ashley, thank you for a wonderful unveiling of the PE900. I just ordered my machine today a new/used one from Amazon today, I was searching forever it seems. I can't wait to become apart of your embroidery group. I'm new to this process. I have not embroidered anything!!
So excited for you and your new embroidery journey! I am working on some new videos with the PE900 so hopefully those will be super helpful too! Thanks for being here!!!!
Looking to purchase my first machine really thinking this one could be the one. I’ve never use one before looks easy enough I will continue watching to make my final decision. Thank you for sharing
Yes! It was very easy to set up and I found that it would be super easy for someone who has never done embroidery to use!! It is so similar to my sewing machine, so, especially if you have sewn before !!! I am excited for you to learn and hopefully get a machine one day!!! You will love it!
Thank you for showing us the PE 900, I have the PE 770, so I have been considering up grading my machine but didn't know to which one and something more affordable. So this tutorial has helped me make my decision. Thanks again. I hope now that you have a single needle machine you can show us more things using single needle machines.
Yes!!! I almost bought the PE800 but the new features especially the Jump-stitch Trimmer was an awesome upgrade!!! And yes that is my plan to show how to do things on both a multineedle and a single needle so now no matter what size hoop we can create things together! I am getting back to the basics! Thanks so much!
Hi! Just wanted to say I am super excited for your videos this year. So pumped you will be doing RUclips full time-I know that must have been scary to commit to but I know you will do great!! We all love your content ❤
I’m really glad this machine comes with Cyrillic and Japanese simplified type built-in: those are two alphabets besides the Roman alphabet that I use! That makes me a lot more interested in this machine. Thanks for pointing this out in your video!
I just got my first and long awaited embroidery machine 2nd hand, a Brother SE350. You are doing a great job giving us clear info and inspiration for my next machine. Thank you. Love it!
The auto threader is a little hard at first, but you were almost there - it comes in handy when you’re changing threads for embroidery - it really save times. 😊
@@TheMonogramMompreneur I actually ended up breaking mine right away! I never had trouble with my PE770. It was covered under warranty since it was 3 days old! BUT.....the trick for the threader I figured out is.....after you thread it in all the spots, you have to put the presser foot in the DOWN position THEN hit the threader lever. Hope this can help someone. I didn't have to do that with the PE770. You'll notice it's a lot smoother that way.
I need pointers, I can't get it to work on my Brother sewing machine, so any pointers to use this method, I welcome. I'm waiting for my machine to arrive this weekend.
I am totally excited. I currently have a PE800 and working on getting a multi- needle really soon. You have sold me on upgrading my pe800 and getting the PE900. Thanks for the the amazing video.
I can't wait to show y'all everything you can do this beginner embroidery machine!! Here is the link to the Brother PE900 shown in this video: amzn.to/3CQ6ydZ. (commissionable link)
I love your channel! You’re so fun! I started with this machine in the Disney version. I just do this for fun! Now I have a 12 Needle Tajima, a 10 needle BabyLock. My everyday Machine is the BabyLock Ellissimo Gold2, and the BabyLock Jazz. I feel like you can’t ever go wrong with Brother or BabyLock, the support is incredible! Keep going, you’re doing a wonderful job!! Excited for your new changes in 2023, praying your year is wildly successful!!
oh my goodness thank you so much for your sweet comment!!!! Sounds like you have lots of fun with all of you machines!!! Isn't Embroidery great?!? Thanks Cleo!!!
I have the Innovis 1700E. I have found that when you are threading your needle, if you place the thread in the thread cutter coming from the back and not the front, it threads every time. I hope that makes sense.
I love that you’re starting these tutorials in a single needle! I just upgraded to a 6 needle, but embroiderers need to know that you can do SO much on just a single needle flat bed. Sometimes thread will get caught between the spool and white spool cap, so you can either take off the spool cap entirely or use the little gray piece to go inside the end of the spool instead if that issue happens
As a Mac user, I am frustrated… spent a long time with Brother customer service, during which they said (a) the Artspira app cannot import .pes files - you can only use it for the files they give you or with freehand drawing (b) the use of the wireless LAN functionality requires that you use their software on a Windows machine - there is literally no path for me to, say, purchase a stitch pattern in .pes format from a third-party designer, or use third-party software to make my own designs, and then get those files onto the PE900 via LAN. I would have to use a USB stick. At that point, the only change in functionality between PE800 and PE900 is the jump thread cutting. Is that functionality really worth the huge price difference (currently $300) between the machines?
Thinking on buying and Mac user too. Have you tried parallels or bootcamp? Windows ISO file is free on Microsoft. Bootcamp is free but you have to reboot Mac and it allows you to use window on Mac.
@@PattyKay-n6c I mean, you can use it, but the company doesn't bother making it easy for you, so you have to basically do their software engineering for them. It's why I chose not to purchase from Brother. (by the way, I use InkStitch plug-ins for InkScape, which is free and open-source, and it works great with my Janome!)
Thank you so much for this step by step tutorial. I am a new subscriber and I must say your videos are so helpful for my up and coming transition into embroidery. Im glad I found you!
Yay!!! I have so many cute projects planned!!! It should be fun and super helpful to show how to do the same projects on different machines! Thanks Michelle
I think the App is for the newer machines that have the wireless connection!!! But you could try if you have a Brother machine! I have to test it more and see if you can save your files to use on other brother machines!
Does the artspira app cost anything or is it free? If you had to choose do you think the PE 900 is worth the little bit extra in price compared to the PE800?
I paid nothing for the Artspira App, as it came with my machine!!! I need to do research if it is compatible with other brother machines that are older! I will say besides the App and Wireless Transfer the thing that sold me was the jump stitch trimmer!!! The PE800 does not have that and that is a huge time saver and makes the embroidery look cleaner!!!! If jump stitches don't bother you for sure the PE800 is an awesome choice for the price!!! Thanks Kayla
For sure you can embroider on a shirt!!! You could do monograms, logos, small names phrases, the trendy collar stitching, and baby /small kids items!! If you are trying to do kids appliqué birthday shirts that might be hard!! But for sure names and monograms are very possible on shirts/sweatshirts with this machine! Thanks Patricia!

I have no need for another single needle but cutting the jump stitches is a great new feature!! I'm really glad they added that.

I confirmed my order this evening. Is it possible for you to earn a commission. Your video played a role in my final decision.
Thank you for this video, I’m looking for an upgrade from my se625 and love this!
What about basting or tacking instead of pinning to float it?

I'm checking in, how much progress have you made with your machine? please share. My machine is being delivered on Saturday.
Practice using the automatic threader. I love mine on my PE800.

Do you have to have internet to use

This is the question I’m asking myself while watching these videos. I have the exact same issue and I’m unwilling to use a PC just for this.

I just brought “Gildan G500” and “Bella + canvas3001C” unisex shirts for my buisness ..are they good quality ?
Thank you so much for the information. I want to start a small embroidery business just doing names on children's jackets and bookbags.
Mecca, how has it been going?

did you get an answer about sing the 4 x 4 hoop on the PE900?
