Adding stinging nettles into vodka to make a drink that looks like ditch water. Sounds like a winner!

It’s all about the taste, so just use a clothes peg on your nose 😂

It works for me. But I am a little bit of a weirdo when it comes to grunge flavours 🫤

Brave Man! I cant imagine consuming anything that looks & smells that bad.....lol. Been experimenting with limoncello & getting the right balance of sugar to the natural flavours is important. Revisiting what youve made with a fresh pallet is also needed. Thx for the vid.

Cheers for that comment buddy. It was a bit of a click bait video wasn’t it, and nothing really new to share. But you are right, because I wanted to see if I still got the same drink that I enjoyed last year. And I wasn’t disappointed. Nice to hear you’re getting serious with the lemoncello. I absolutely love that drink, and am hardly ever out of stock of it! 🤤

I tried the nettle one first time round, not so keen . But your lemon cello, wow that is amazing, every one loves it. Ill be making another batch next week ready for the BBQ's. Hope your video is still up to refresh my memory, cheers

Yeah, it’s defo not a best seller that drink. But I do love it. For me it’s something very different from the normal inherent polished drinks we buy.
      Lemoncello ftw every time!

I can’t get stinging nettles where I live in the USA. I am from the northeast. But this looks good to try

That’s a shame. I thought Nettles were pretty commonplace in most countries. But it’s definitely not a drink for everyone, so in that respect, you might be lucky not to have any in your area 😆

I remember my dad's nettle wine, after one taste I decided nettles ain't for me in alcohol. Think there's better (nearly) free flavours, just caramelise the sugar a little and put that in. You can't beat raiding the spice cupboard though.

It’s one of those that you either like it or not. It’s amazing how many wild flavours are out there that many have never tried.
So far this year I’ve got 5 batches of Nettle and Ginger Wine on the go. And it won’t last long!

@@highly-spirited I'm happy for a challenge. You give me three main ingredients I must use (no nettle), and I'll give you three.
With a broad list of other stuff to augment the distillate.
