Thank you for this recipe. I have canned turkey and wondering how to prepare some of it. I’d add some sage with beef bacon.

Cook bacon first, then do veggies in the bacon grease. Crumble bacon, continue with recipe. You’re welcome. H… also consider shaving some potato thinly. It will almost melt into the broth, thickening the texture just a bit. Trust me, it makes a difference.

Yes omg this is such a great improvement. I was also thinking adding an extra cream measurement along with some cheese of choice to make it thicker and more creamy
