    It's running faster in the video haha 😅 I've been waiting for this, this proves wrong those who say I305 has no airtime, I KNEW that camelback pulled more than -1 g! I'm so happy 🤣

      I think the reason why some coaster enthusiasts think I305 has no airtime is because they’re blacked out for half the ride 😂.

    if I were to make a coaster like that in RCT2. I would get multiple penalties. for negative G

    • @chrisogrady28
      @chrisogrady28 7 месяцев назад +1

      Negative G limits are around -3G, no real coasters go anywhere near that

  • @RADZADproductions
    @RADZADproductions 7 месяцев назад +5

    the fact that its running slower on the force graph than in the video is crazy, cant even imagine a fully warmed up version. Also glad to see that the ride lives up to the airtime I thought it had, not what everyone else says about it.

  • @chrisogrady28
    @chrisogrady28 7 месяцев назад +5

    FYI this is only accurate if the accelerometer is afixed to the train, if it's just in your pocket the G's are massively damped by your body and clothing acting as suspension

    • @Intamindator_305
      @Intamindator_305  7 месяцев назад +3

      Yes, if one were to acquire an Apple Watch you could hold it near the center of your chest to attain more accurate readings of what a rider would experience while riding, however I do not own an Apple Watch but the forces shouldn’t be too far off from the actual values.

    • @chrisogrady28
      @chrisogrady28 7 месяцев назад +3

      @@Intamindator_305 I don't think that would be true values either as your body moving around damps forces, but the forces are still there as that's why you moved, the best you could do with a watch would probably be to keep a really tight geip of the shoulder restraint which hopefully stays still, but I have no idea I haven't been on i305 sadly

    • @ts4gv
      @ts4gv 2 месяца назад +1

      @@chrisogrady28 the damping you're describing would have very short term effects. it'd smooth out the graph, yes, but I bet it'd still show the true peak value for any element longer than 0.5sec
      like, once your body finishes deviating from its resting position at the start of a new element, there's no way to further damp the forces. Once you're slammed as far into your seat as you can get, the accelerometer is gonna measure the full force at play.
      (Not to mention the fact that if you fix the meter to your chest, whatever G's it experiences are the same G's you the rider experiences by definition. That'd arguably give more meaningful readings than affixing it to the train, but that's debatable, and as I've already argued the differences are probably pretty small)
      To your point, though, if it was a super bumpy ride (like an old woodie) & you wanted to measure precisely how bumpy it was, then yeah, smoothness is your enemy & affixing to the train is 100% the way to go. But if you're just trying to measure how many Gs an element pulls, chestmount damping has no major flaws
