- On 27 March 1963 the police were called to Cobden Street, Salford where they found Kathleen Parkinson suffering from stab wounds in the entrance to the premises of Snowden & Bridges at 9.24am. the police called an ambulance and then went to Laundry Street near the steps of Cock Robin Bridge where they saw Dalip Kumar lying on the footpath near the bridge.
Kathleen Parkinson soon died and a post mortem examination was carried out on the same day at 1.45pm which revealed that she had six knife wounds. the cause of death was determined to be haemorrhage and air embolism from stab wounds.

That’s such a lovely comment. Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and the content ⭐️🐒
My grandmother was born and raised in Salford, she raised my mom and siblings in Swinton before emigrating to Eastern Canada, so , this case is especially interesting to me. Lots of people have mental illness , but 99% of us know right from wrong. This diminished responsibility thing is B.S.! Thank you for this story. Looking forward to hearing more from this channel!
Wow! Thank you so much for the comment PJay! I really do appreciate it. You’ve made some great points in the comments too! Thank you and have a great Christmas 🎅🏼👍🏼
@@daftmonkey7296 Try the site called' Find a grave, it could help you to find where Kathleen is buried. If nothing is on there, she might have been cremated. I,ve got a feeling she could be buried with her mother. So if you can find out her name and try and see if it's on find a grave. Merry xmas to you and your family.
I agree with what you said..Not all mentally ill ppl kill. It is bs.

Superb, as always. A fantastic production which had my attention from beginning to end. A fine gesture leaving roses at the foot of a tree - she could've been cremated, and ashes spread on the ground. Well done and thank you for sharing. 💚

Well done Ant, another enthralling video. My wife tells me she used to cross this bridge with her sister everyday on their way to school and that there indeed was some kind of bad vibe thing going on! Brilliantly put together and edited mate, well worth the wait. Hope you've got the house sorted now mate and we can look forward to future videos. ATB mate.
Thank you so much, and sorry for the late reply. yes, it definitely has an atmosphere all of its own that place. very strange indeed. house is a nightmare mate haha, but that's another story haha! take care pal and thanks once again
Great video Anthony! This is a sad but all too familiar story, well at least here in the states it is. I think what is especially terrible, apart from her actual murder, is how justice was never really served. His parents were able to hire the best lawyers their money could buy and how the media portrayed Kathleen didn't help her image. No wonder her father became a recluse, he probably was living with an overwhelming feeling of loss and powerless. Loss for losing his wife, then the murder of his daughter, and powerless his daughters killer was able to walk away. Nowadays Dalip would be considered a stalker and there are new laws to protect women from his kind, still I am sure money and media play a big part in cases like this. What I think is very sad is how you tried to locate her gravesite with no luck, which says to me there should have been better information of exactly where it was. You would hope there are still some family members alive today who remember her and would tend to her grave, but It's almost as if time has erased the memory of Kathleen. I think it's a noble cause you trying to locate her gravesite and lay some flowers for her, hopefully one day you will be able to find it. Cheers mate this was a good one!
That's wonderful that you are honoring her memory. Sometimes we have to wait for true justice to be served, but I believe it always is. Either on this plane, or somewhere else.
Thanks so much for watching Julie. That’s such a kind comment ⭐️
Another fantastic video from you mate and as always full of history brought to life by you and again so respectfully done 👏👏👏 xx
