"Missing You, Namine" is a symphonic medley of an underappreciated character theme in the Kingdom Hearts story with the melancholy theme from the player's interactions with said character.
Originally, the idea to combine these two tracks grew from the title of the official Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections track under the same name, but the way these themes have been put together with an expanded instrumentation for DARKNESS more readily serves to highlight the tragedy of Namine's abuse by the Organization during the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

In celebration of KINGDOM HEARTS and the stunning melodies of Yoko Shimomura, Utada Hikaru, Takeharu Ishimoto, and Tsuyoshi Sekito, we present Project Destati’s second volume.
DARKNESS is the highly-anticipated follow-up album to Project Destati’s 2014 Billboard-charting soundtrack album “LIGHT.” The album is a musical amalgamation of fan-favorite themes from the KINGDOM HEARTS series, re-assembled in an all-new fashion like long-forgotten memories.
Featuring a live string orchestra and industry-leading soloists, DARKNESS is a dark, grand, and mysterious musical experience that aims to capture Tetsuya Nomura’s own imagination.

She’s my favorite charcter of the series. All her actions since she met Sora or maybe Axel were driven by pure kindness. Her theme is so hearthwarming.
"You won't disappear. You'll be whole!"
"I will protect Namine. Phantom promise or not, it's MY promise!"
"I may not know it's you, and you may not know it's me. But we will meet again, someday soon! I promise!"
This version of "Missing You" really made me cry but it also gave me so much hope.
When I was little, I always wanted to name my own daughter Naminé. Thank you Project Destati for making me want that even more now.

Love listening to songs i know. This is a song i know, but project destati takes that known song and makes it a new song. Its kind of like a fuzzy memory of a good time
Absolute perfection! You captured Namine's essence as well as her suffering in a nutshell!
Idk why but from
Project Destati you have created another master piece this song conveys so many emotions like speaking to someone you have met but you can't remember and memories that can't resurface no matter how hard you try to grasp them.... but that's just what I think.
The entire Organization disliked this.
