    I have the 2.0T Quattro as well and i have to say the awd and turbo combo theres times where i hit the gas and i feel the car just pull so smooth almost like a tesla taking off from the line. For only being an A3 it sure is adequate

      I decided to keep mine for now. You get a lot of car for the money in today’s market. It’s a lot of fun to drive and so comfortable.

    I have a 2015 saloon - the 1.4 TFSI 150bhp. Not massive amounts of power but nippy enough to catch up to cars quickly. It's a lovely little engine and economical to run yet fun to drive, like a baby-brother of a sports car. Admittedly It has half of the power an s3 has but with a stage 2 remap on the 1.4 you could close that gap to about 220hp (I'm not sure the potential for the 2.0 Quattro in terms of remap but I can imagine it'd boost it up a lot closer to the 300 mark and maybe even easily surpass it given the s3's are 2.0L anyway, right?). My car is blacked out which is the opposite to yours so I find your car to be really refreshing to look at and you've done an excellent job with it. I love the A3 line; especially the saloons for aesthetics but also driving practicality.

      That’s cool! I have enjoyed driving it. I love the simplicity of the interior too. It has aged very well. Audi does a fantastic job with interior design. I’m at 90k miles now and have just started to have issues with the fuel pump and charcoal canister. It has been very reliable other than that. :)

    • @InattentiveADHB
      @InattentiveADHB 6 месяцев назад

      @@DekiaryCarterTorally agree about the interior too. Feels like it was made for you, right?
      I’m at 82k so I’m right behind you; charcoal is an easy fix isn’t it? And what issues with the fuel pump? You had them diagnosed yet?

    I'm actually thinking to by it, and I find your video. It's helps a lot! Thanks
    And I have a question. What things u don't like about this car ( thinking about from the factory )

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  Год назад

      It’s a really great car for the price but it depends on your situation. If you have more than two people in the car etc.. it’s a good two person car but too small for a family. It can definitely use an upgraded exhaust system for better noise. That can easily be fixed though. I can recommend the car easily. Just try to get a lower mileage car that has been well maintained. Avoid the front wheel drive 1.8 models. The 2.0 with Quattro are more reliable. The 2017 premium plus A3 is probably the best year for some of the newer tech like the Audi virtual cockpit and Apple CarPlay. Otherwise, the 2016 is good. Make sure you get one has that had the recall for the passenger seat airbag taken care of.

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  11 месяцев назад +1

      I wouldn’t personally recommend someone’s first car out of high school to be a German car because of the higher maintenance costs compared to something like a Honda or Toyota. It’s a great though.

    • @cabbagememes2852
      @cabbagememes2852 11 месяцев назад +2

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  11 месяцев назад +1

      @cabbagememes2852 yeah, try to get something very affordable with low maintenance costs so you can save the money for something special down the road. You typically pay $200+ per hour for maintenance labor alone on a German car. Try to get something you can buy cash and keep for a few years. Save and invest early and you’ll be much happier by the time you’re in your late 20’s.

      @seanvallely2430 Год назад

      @@DekiaryCarter Those are 19s? I have an a3 FWD on stock suspension and wondering if I should get 18s and some lowering springs, or just get 19s. Do you have any issues with rubbing on the fender or anything like that?

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  Год назад

      I’m on a stock suspension and have zero issues with rub. There is still a 1-1/4 inch gas so it’s not too low. These are 35 series tires. If you went 40 series there would be less gap. Ride quality went down by 15% probably but grip and road feel went up by a good 40% compared to the daily driver wheels.
