I had a 2017 S3. Then I went to a manual M2 Competition, and now I'm back to Audi with the new RS3. I really enjoyed having a clutch again, but I missed Audi when I had the BMW. The interiors are better and the B&O stereo is infinitely better. The RS3 is considerably quicker than the S3, but I actually think the S3 might be the perfect amount of power. The M2 and RS3 are so fast you really can't push them very often. No matter where you are, if you punch it you're criminally speeding 2 seconds later. That sounds cool, but it has real life limitations if you don't want to be a felon.
Oh cool! We are enjoying our RS3 a lot right now! Sold this S3 for it. I do miss the better steering and handling of the S3 tho. So mechanical vs electronic feeling. Sound system is pretty good in the new RS3 for sure!
I purchased a S3 new in 2015, Loaded, technology package, advanced handling package. Only "mods" are new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summers and Michelin Pilot PA4 snows (I live in Canada). Nine years old - no problems. Fun road trip car and drivable in the city (Toronto) winter and summer. Only complaint as I get older is ingress, a bit low. Paid C$55K. Nine years!

Currently driving a manual mustang gt, its amazing and awesome fun but the repayments are quite a bit and the fuel is crazy expensive especially here in aus with it being $2.20 a litre. Think i will go the s3 for sure !
Help, I can't decide! Would you recommend the 2023 S3 or S4? Residuals on the S4 are a bit higher than the S3 in Southern California, so to get into a P+ S4 it's about $50/month more than the S3. It's mostly just me running errands on the weekday and enjoy some drives to L.A. on the weekends. What do you think is the better option to lease? I guess it comes down to paying for the extra features like the massage seats, built-in upgraded sound system on the S4, slightly roomier interior? I only got to test drive a P+ A3 and a 2021 P+ S4 S-Sport, so I couldn't really compare the two because the S4 had so much more power than the A3.
Honestly I wouldn't buy the new S3. We're buying a new RS3 and it's only going to be $7k more than a new S3 with similar options. Can't see why someone who can afford a $60k car wouldn't just get the RS3. A base S3 I feel like you're missing way to many features for a $50k car. So I'd get the S4 or the RS3. If a good used one pops up for less then waiting for a new one, Id go for that too tho
@@BrosFOURRSpeed awesome, yea RS3 is the move but without a plug to get a good deal, it's $10k over sticker and long wait list. It is even better in Europe. We have the S3 with "Efficiency mode" that will be coasting and accelerating really efficiently with cruise control.
