It feels like a blend of every single Meta Knight personality. You've got the peaceful, intellectual, alone-but-not-lonely Meta Knight of the modern Kirby games, the short-fuse easily-angered Meta Knight of the older games, and just a pinch of the anime Meta Knight, mysterious and quiet, yet extreme and emotional. The instrumentation is perfect, and it evokes so many variations on his theme throughout the series- the Kirby's Epic Yarn calming piano, the odd indescribable quality of the Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe remix, the jazzy remix from Kirby's Blowout Blast... it's fantastic.

I am so glad that this is based off of Brawl's version of the song, because the part where Kirby's Triumphant Return plays (1:43) sounds so good
That specific part of this remix is on a higher tier than Brawl Meta Knight
That's in the original as well (in "taking over the Halberd"), the brawl version Meta Knights Revenge just mashed the Kirby's Triumphant Return part from taking over the halberd with Meta Knights Revenge.
I honestly almost forgot about it ^o^;

One of the most nostalgic reminders in Kirby. meta knights revenge was on of the best but nearly forgotten games i played. i always wondered why i made giant ships outa Legos. until I saw the cinematic years later, I know why I built those giant ships now.

Sorry you found it minimalistic, but fair enough, I toned down the organ a lot, mostly because it's so difficult to mix with everything else without making it sound harsh ^o^;
