Qumu, you managed to turn a song that feels like climbing a tower into a song that feels like a tower. The 8-bit is such a nice touch, it feels like a shovel-knight song almost or something out of a final Kirby level. Truly amazing job

I can legitimately imagine Mario running through a high-quality, well remade version of Buoy Base (or Galaxy in general) while I listen to this sick remix, especially when I reach parts like 1:36, great job on this cover man

Now that you mentioned it, I remember wishing that All-stars would have been properly up scaled versions , and had remixes from everyone instead of just the originals, like A Hat in Time did it, and just how much better it could have been

It’s because this song has parts in 6/8 time which is a whole other beast when it comes to music and it sounds amazing when it’s played right, there’s also parts in 4/4 with triplets
Edit: I’m not actually sure if it has parts in 6/8 it just sounds like it does to me, correct me if I’m wrong

It's awesome anytime.
"Buoy Base Galaxy" is such an underrated gem of the Super Mario games' music. The fact that there's only one main star and one bonus star to get in the whole galaxy, and that the music doesn't play anywhere else, is mind-boggling. Why would you write such a great piece for a stage that you'll play on for five minutes?!
At least it returned in Galaxy 2 (if I remember correctly) (or was it just the stage?)

Nintendo sometimes does that... Make an amazing song and then only use it like once ^o^;
I suck at the swimming controls so I would take years to beat the level.
Now I play the level to hear the music.
