Hello mam , I have a doubt... In ungrouped data, when n is odd - the the (n+1)/2 th OBSERVATION is the median......while when n is even - the average of n/2th observation and (n/2 + 1)th observation ITSELF is the median....right?
It's only 28 if the no.of variables is odd. But if they are even. You take both the central no. In odd median only 28 was central no. But in even median both 28 and 29 were central. Hence both are added and divided by 2. Hope this helps.
