    Wow this is the best diy for tufted channel headboard. The other ones are beautiful too, but too much wood which is expensive now and I am not a carpenter, and I can't lift all that wood lmao. This looks much more lightweight and eliminates a lot of extra steps ♥️♥️ you're a lifesaver

    Stopping halfway to say it only took me an hr of refreshing RUclips with the same search term to find this video. I had the idea to do it this way but wanted confirmation from someone that’s already done it! Thanks!! And I was wondering about the securing the edges, chefs kiss! 😚

    Electric kitchen carving knife is good for cutting through foam. A carpenter's square can help ensure your tufting lines are perfectly vertical. I completely agree with you about hand operated staplers. I think men design tools for a man's hand. My grip is not that strong. There are times I have to reach for a screwdriver or pliers to operate the buttons and latches on my power tools. I have an electric stapler on my wish list. Oooh....I watched through to the end of your video. I love how the channeling on the headboard echoes the channeling on your loveseat. What a harmonious look....applause.

    Hi just watched your video and what an fantastic headboard you have done i love it and want to do 1 also but not sure if my bedroom furniture which is black would go with it any advice you could give also what was the fabric called as it is fabulous, again what an amazing talent you have a d your home is stunning. Jo, Liverpool, England UK xx

    • @jagbydesign5213
      @jagbydesign5213  11 месяцев назад

      The black furniture should work. A good design is not being to matchy, matchy lol. However, the style of the furniture may not go with this modern contemporary style headboard. The fact that your asking, I'm thinking the latter may be your issue? It's hard to advise a different color fabric as I don't know what colors are in the room. Like wall colors etc. My room has evolved since this video and I have a dark wall now and the headboard looks amazing against it. BTW the fabric selection was listed in the description, if I'm not mistaking.

      I said the measurements in the video. Also, it will depend on the size of your mattress. The side boards were 10 inches high but I would recommend 12inches high instead. The headboard is 48 inches high and the front board is 15 inches high. You width will be what you mattelress is with 2 inches added.
