all you have to do then is switch the card board with ply board to make it last. this is a great quick diy project especially for a kids room or even your room. p.s. just don't lean on the head board.
Thank you, thank you and thank you. This is the easiest way to do a headboard. Watching another Utube was heavy and harder to work around the plywood. Again, thank you for a brilliant second option. Cheers
Thanks for the video. It is a pretty good way to work for DIY headboard but I rather use plyboard instead of cardboard. However, while I was watching your video ... I couldn't take my eyes away from the decorative items around your house ... They have their own unique character, nice, elegant and very classy.
I think I'm going to do this! me being 8 month pregnant it's an easy DIY! plywood would last longer but it's something temporary for my room. also I was thinking to hold it up get two 2x4 and secure it with gorilla glue, that stuff is amazing. and just lean it against the wall.
been looking for headboard to my taste male haven't seen any i liked who'd think I'd find a video 4 yrs old and how I wanted it same fabric too!!! I'd got bunch of boxes made mine taller , damn so awesome looking! thxs I jest also hit the sub button to 😎😁
Very nice job and I love that you didn't make it a 20-minute video. I think it would be best to push the headboard against the wall---I don't think 3 m will make it stick
I find it hard hard for Staples to stay in the cardboard versus wood do you have that problem or does anyone if so what would be a solution and what can I use alternative for batting I heard fleece blankets what do you think Jennifer or anyone
Well you left out the most important part that l was interested in and that was the corners it would have been nice to see how that was done you made a mistake for everyone so it was only ok video for that reason only if you are teaching a craft then show the whole thing not five minutes in and then finish.
Best and most cost effective creation I've seen yet so far, great job!
I love your postive and bubbly personality. Makes me feel happy and inspired. 💜💜💜
Thank you Jen. Best video I've found for this DIY. The egg foam tip was key.😊
She seems so happy to be doing this .... I’m happy to be a new subscriber . 🥰
Thanks for sharing. Love how it is plan and simple. Plan on doing my head board soon.
Love this. Easy, inexpensive. This is the video I was looking for!!

Themakeupolic I agree, plyboard is a cheap, sturdy, and relatively light weight material to use.
How would you easily cut a scalloped corner with plywood? You’d need a jigsaw wouldn’t you?

OMG. U made me crazy. So simple , elegant, and cost effective! I love doing cardboard projects! Thanks so much dear
this is gorgeous! I will be using cardboard but stacking a few and gluing them on top of one another for a more sturdy headborad.
The headboard turned out great... But look at that beautiful home😍 I'll have to watch again jus to look at the decor☺
I am making the same scalloped corner. How do you wrap the fabric around the scalloped part? Do you cut the fabric in the same horseshoe shape first?
Beautifull 👍👍👍
Even if you do not use fabric you can use a flat sheet
Would have been nice to have seen how you wrapped the cutouts. But still nice.
Thank you, thank you and thank you. This is the easiest way to do a headboard. Watching another Utube was heavy and harder to work around the plywood. Again, thank you for a brilliant second option. Cheers
I agree- that's what I saw a lot of people using wood. Heavy and saws and screws and whatever else you need.

Lovely Job. 😚💝Those Extremely Large Vases in Your Living Room How Nice!!!! A Bamboo Plant Would. Go Well in Them. Good Taste.
Any big box store or furniture store you could get big cardboard from. They would be grateful to give it away.
Very nice job and I love that you didn't make it a 20-minute video. I think it would be best to push the headboard against the wall---I don't think 3 m will make it stick
Great!
Beautiful! I need to beef it up a bit yo make it stronger, but great idea! Btw nice house

how much fabric is needed for a king size headboard?
You never showed how you did the scalloped ends. Why is that ?
this was help full thanks 🌸

I just found you and so glad I did. Now I can start my headboard ! New subscriber :)
Please vlog how to make a bed for kids that can also make kids
can you use a plain wood
How you do the top corners ,, is not on video
Great.......I think I can do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love love it
Awesome
im scared that as soon as i lean on it, i would pull the fabric bringing out those staples and ruining the fabric, i fear it won't last at all :(
Linda Lopez just use a piece of ply or hardboard instead of cardboard if you can afford it
Won’t last long if you’re using carbourd it needs to be plywood
Omg im so excited to make mines!! Thanks
This is are one! I am not done watching the video yet?
Nice 😚😚
Umm...thought that was a box cutter?
How did you hang it up on the wall.
She said velcro could be used to protect the wall.
I would use a french cleat or some industrial picture hangers!
King size

Wonderful headboard idea for me! However, I will replace the fabric with patterned contact paper that suits my taste.

Geez! Headboards are so freaking cheap! Why would anyone want to make one!
Great idea I'm using it to cover my fireplace for my toddlers play room
