The planes generally come out when sh*ts getting serious. They get loaded up with either fire retardant or water and dump it over/around/in the line of the fire.... You see a plane? You gtfo as fast as possible 😅

It’s called a TAF 20 (Turbine Aided Firefighting). It can move cars, building debris etc out of the way with its blade, clear smoke from a building with a high-powered fan, as well as spray water mist or foam for 60-metres and have a solid stream up to 90-metres. It can be also be remotely operated up to 500-metres away.
