@@shxrkfivem On 1 September 1997, the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) was established by an act of Parliament as the successor to the first Bush Fire Brigade,
Why such a long turnout, considering another pump was there and the car was in the back of a tow truck. Why would the service put other road users at risk to assist to pick up spagsorb or what ever material that the other pump used to contain the spill on the ground.
Essentially during the fire season its the first responding appliance, however the other pump got there first. I've responded to QHill parkway from Schofields and by the time we've gotten there, FRNSW has already been there. Its the life of RFS, being stood down by townies.
In our area, they usually send an appliance from one direction and another from the opposite direction. There are many reasons why they do this and the main one is, if the road is blocked in both directions there is an appliance at either end of the crash site..

Cumberland district did have a "Flyer", crewed by members from the brigade on duty at the time, but I believe it no longer exists, however I think the Northern Beaches still has a flyer
Nice response video. Just hope you don't have an accident while responding to a call. Alwayer for the victims of the crash will find the listening to a typical morning radio show while responding to an emergency call disturbing. Your concentration should be entirely on getting to the scene through heavy traffic and not distracted by the tunes or morning radio host chatter.
When one is driving response one has to be 1. relaxed, and 2. concentrating 'loose' that is avoiding tunnel vision, taking in the whole road scene and watching the traffic as a body far ahead. Often when driving you wouldn't even hear the commercial radio if it was on.
The idea is that they are a flyer (They already have a crew ready to go) Yes other brigades are closer but they still have to get to the station, get their gear together and on the road making it longer.
Grow up ya child, coppers have it going, paramedics do too, also its a dashcam and they have half decent microphones in them, they pick up a lot, it might not have been that loud considering the crew were talking aswell. If you dont have anything nice to say just shut the fuck up.
Mate shut the fuck up, we're not gonna sit in a cab listening to a siren the entire drive, might aswell put some music on. Why don't you try joining and do something useful?
I was in RFS before it was RFS and went through that first intersection on many responses. Brings back memories!
I do not know what you are talking about, it has always been Rural Fire Service.
Ots been Nsw Bush Fire Brigades

So many fire calls. I haven't had one since the end of September.

Sending Eastern Creek out to quaukers Hill when schofields and Marsden Park are closer plus FRNSW at schofields
This is cumberland flyer - not an Eastern Creek Appliance. We just called up on air and got responded.
@@ryanlagois3590 never even heard of the cumberland flyer when I was at schofields
So nothing else closer to Quakers Hill like Doonside or Rooty Hill?

How is it distracting? The driving they are doing isn't hard at all.

I would put my money on the lawyer.
Credit where it is due, for a vol that was a 10/10 drive, edging on cocky but none the less quite skillfull.
crank
Just a bit late looks like a waste of our emergency services .

Got the Radio playing music while going lights and sirens ?....what s joke! you should be embarrassed by that. Totally unprofessional.

There volunteers and the sirens are loud, i mean if your not happy when yiu have a crash they can just stand down and not respobd and leave you stuck.
Full concentration is needed, not listening to music like on a Sunday drive
Jamming to some tunes while responding to an mva hahaha
