Awesome video! If you want to save a couple seconds of time the Toyota N1 filter o-rings come pre-lubed and don't require any additional oil.

Funny how they came back to the metal filter. Actually, I think the internal filter material in the metal ones is the same as the cartridge.

Yup. Pretty much every new vehicle these days.
That was some nasty oil coming out of the filter. With what, just under 1000 miles?
It was on the darker side but nothing crazy. I believe it’s just from the turbo already disintegrating due to the engine lacking two cylinders
near 10k, I thought I'd seen. Noted because I thought, " I'd never have gone that long."

@@glennaguon5165 you misread the meter! That said 9100 miles left… so I changed at 900 miles. Break in at 1k and then every 5k increment after that 😎
