I am just starting out on the long journey to learn Korean (as my third language, yay!) I am curious, is there any sound difference when adding the silent/glottal ㅇ toㅏto make 아 ... if not, why (or when) are these added? (Is there a specific reason or rule for when to use ㅏor 아 )?
