In the Smoky Mountains hiking trails we come across a cabin that have been there since the 1880s. Sitting down to take a break we noticed it never had electricity and no running water , looking around we see old futlrniture ,old Bible and can almost hear the fiddle,& the banjo playing after the days chores and dinner .
I must confess my predjucice, when gourd is being played...that said this is all soo apropos of our nearness to Thanksgiving. Blessings and Shalom in Him

The expressions you make when you fluff some notes always make me laugh... I'm a musician and I love those little fluffs because they make it authentic and remind me of the old mountain people playing long ago in the Appalachian... truer than too studied...
