4:19 Her throat singing is especially visible here and it's amazing she can get those sounds with breath alone. Scatting and beatboxing are all well and good, but to my mind this is a whole different level, even if technique is older. Saw another reaction vid that said she's imitating nature sounds themselves.

@@eTraxx I’m faroese, and faroese is second closest to Old Norse. Icelandic is the closest.
The ending scenes in the last James Bond (where he dies), were shot on the Faroe Islands. And a great part of the rest of the movie, was shot in Norway.
The Faroe Islands is a lot more barren, green cliffs, and not so much mountains, like in this video.
This must have echoed for miles along the fjord... 🤯
if you were there you had a "Woodstock" experience........how many 1,000s told their kids "I was there!"....her beautiful, mystical voice echos through the valley and fjord, riding the air.....Eivor wrote this, though it sounds like a medieval chant.....the language is Faroese
