I spent a week in a shearing shed in the 1980s and my job was pressing wool in one of those manual presses. Later, I found out my job also included penning up sheep. And when the rams came into the shed, my job grew to catching rams for the shears and those western NSW rams were big. Droving large mobs of sheep on the road was one a common sight in Australia and mobs of 5 to 10 thousand sheep were often seen.
Well done and so refreshing to see Australia talked about by Australians not Americans , which seems to be most of the videos these days About our country
The Trewhella horse Winch at 1.10. Has anyone ever seen one? I would love to have a good old Sticky Beak if anybody knows where or who would have one. Cheers
You forgot the most important people on the farm, the wife and the kids who helped work all the sheep, I was in WA in 97, worked out ravensthorpe, was up in northbridge getting a hair for a Greek man who I would never left the city but he was asking about the crops and rain were they looking good ,I think I saw the old Australian there ,if the country going good ,the city would follow
@@gerardhogan3 I think you've responded to the wrong person lol I think your comment was Addressed to the RUclips clown Who is definitely in the real world
@@gerardhogan3 yeah don’t get me wrong it’s bad. I watched a video just a few days ago about the dust storms around Mildura. But I also think it’s somewhat part of natures cycle… it’s not like the abo’s cleared central Australia and caused it become desert.
Albo and Bowen with their stupid waste of time and money wind turbines are not helping with thousands of acres of land clearing I've seen this first hand it's incredible
Great video mate :)

Australia rode on the sheep’s back 👍🇦🇺
Australia was only financially viable riding on the Aboriginals back.
You forgot to mention that we've pretty much fucked the land through over clearing.
Yes we all know that but don't blame this guy remember people in this century are not responsible for what happened in the last or the one before
Mate it's still happening now. No ones blaming anyone mate. These are the fkn facts. Get into the real world.

If Australia had Nz's climate there wouldn't be a food shortage
Kids note the exaggerated carbon rubbish, Australia has always been this way…….
Nice video, but not all of Australian agricultural production is or was in the dry wheat belt, so perhaps you overdid that a bit?
Farmers and miners nothing has changed in2024.
Accept none are Australian
Who could forget sheep was poor mans food? Now just this week lamb break $300 mark, yeah what's that you have in your tucker bag?
