I have been working for some time on Corel Videostudio Ultimate so far I still like it for its interface and its new functions that it brings in each version, I would like that in the new version they would include an equalizer and filters for audio, motion tracking and add Spanish language It would be perfect, I would no longer be resorting to third-party programs to use certain functions 🙏🙏
Equalizer would be great, but hey at least you can use audio filters and do motion tracking on current version...
Proper update, not to skip that one. Time-bending graphs sound awesome!
The program is getting better, but the only bad thing about its latest versions is that it shuts down in the middle of the task and ruins all the work.
Go to your settings and enable your copy of the software to save your work automatically and check the smart relink box so you don't miss or have to start all over if for some reason you get kicked out of the program.

I agree with you. Their latest version 2022 is the WORST.
@@Rustomhavewalla I didn't try 2022, because i was quite sure they would not fix a few very specific errors of the last 10 years. Especially ELP (Extremely Low Performance) errors, in the normal text editor for example. I also hesitate even to try the 2023 version because they didn't released any Patch for many previous versions.

It's not as advanced, but it actually depends on what you use the software for; planning on editing the next avengers movie? No, this isn't the right software for that. Editing you tube, mini documentaries, music vids, weddings and such random things; yes it can do that just fine.

You can create the slow-mo effect in your camera (Lots of tutorials on that), then messing with the NEW slow/fast speed ramps fx added to this new version. You really don't need an external plug to do it.

As far as I'm concerned is not compatible with W7. It's what it sates on the official download page.
When will you render in ultrawide, I have so many recordings that I can not output in 32:10 or 32:8

Corel Video Studio 2022 is not so good. The editing is very slow and the final product gives lipsinc problems. Corel Video Studio X9 and 2021 were excellent.
I have been using Corel Video Studio since the days of Ulead.
I found Corel Video Studio to be the best and the easiest.
Corel Video Studio 2021 was simply SUPERB.
But Corel Video Studio 2022 is hopeless because it has LIP-SYNC PROBLEM.
Another problem is that though I am willing to purchase 2022 Ultimate version, the transaction is not going through.
So what do I do? I use Corel Video Studio X9.
But X9 is unable to open any MP4 file longer than 10 minutes that I have shot on my Sony A7iii camera. The program crashes immediately.
I don't know whether Video Studio 2022 will accept these troublesome MP4 files or not.
So, I have installed Adobe Premier Pro which opens all my files without any difficulty. Premier Pro is definitely much more difficult, but as long as it does what I want, I am content with it.
It's been working just fine so far... I do lots of editing, no problems.

I have warned you. Please recheck your rendered files. If there is sound or noise, you will not notice it. But, if there is a lip sync, you will be in trouble.
You will be in trouble especially when your File Property while editing is different from your original file. Be careful.
*@Rustomhavewalla* I am a user like you. In the last years i described a few serious problems that still exist (at least till 2021). They didn't fix almost any of them. I didn't see any Patch in the last years for any of the versions that i own. It's amazing that you found only one problem in 2023, but unfortunately i can't believe it's the only one.

@@facegym-faceyouth5975 Drag a video clip or color clip onto your time-line then from the FX library pick the NewBlue Tittler Pro 5. Click on customize effect to open the settings. Once in there you'll find lots of pre arranged tittles, count-downs, clocks, lower thirds, etc....
I purchased the package but the software does not cost. Serious bug. Too bad I want to continue to use your editor as well and not just Adobe but it does not cost and currently you have no solution for the situation

How do I make the program write the Arabic language in the project
VideoStudio hat die Direkthilfe und das Benutzerhandbuch nur in englisch zur Verfügung. Eine deutsche Ausgabe ist nicht verfügbar. Das Menü ist in deutscher Sprache einstellbar.
Das sollte jeder überlegen, der noch keine mit einer älteren Version hat, ob er sich durch hunderte Seiten englischer Fachliteratur durcharbeiten will.

I use this program for work. But I have a problem with Thai (thai language) font, please fix it. Thai language has special characters such as : ่ ้ ๊ ๋ ็
Can you try to write your tittles on note pad for example, then copy and paste into VideoStudio? It works for me for especial characters.

@@phongnarinchanchomphu6930 Interesting... I also noticed that not all type of fonts support especial characters, perhaps if you tried a different font compared to what you're using to see if the characters you want are supported? Try that.
But is the crashing fixed?
Tried it since it came out and no crashes so far... Its important to have your operating system up-to-date, same as your drives, codecs and all that to have this work nice and smooth. Your processor and video card and memory capacity play a big role on how the software behaves too. Enjoy.

Check your PC against software requirements before you try the trial, I've been using it since it came out with zero defects so far.

@@beckinbinderin Its not bout luck, its all bout learning to deal with whatever comes my way. I own Davinci and I 100% prefer VS over fancy and complex editing stuff for the silly things I edit or upload on my channel. I honestly do not believe crashes, bugs are intentionally created by the developer to give users a hard time, bugs and issues are created on your PC for whatever reasons. I do not believe Corel wants to kill the editing app (auto terminate) by making yourself miserable. So whose fault is it?.... Like I said before, if its not the right editing app for you, move on to a 2k "professional" editing application and then tell me if you do not encounter issues and bugs. The reason I believe I do not have issues or bugs is due to the fact I custom built my PC especially for video editing, there's zero other software's that could interfere with the application on my pc. Its working for me and its running nice and smooth, better than ever. Best of luck on your search.

VideoStudio 2020 has some serious flaws and is very unstable. It shutsdown in the middle of editing and sometimes when you save your project it comes back with spaces in between the clips. Then those clips are not saved at your original cuts. Also, there's a problem with the color options as when you try to select a preset the program shuts down if the clip is shot in 4k or in a log profile. The program also lowers the bitrate when you do your final render which gives you poor video quality. if you check the bitrate of your original clip straight out of camera it's always higher than the rendering bitrate which causes a huge drop in video quality. I've had other user of this program tell me of the same problems with this program but when you ask support staff at Corel they act as if they never heard of this problem. They can be very helpful but they never resolved the problem and won't upgrade or patch the software for free.
Would it make any difference creating a template for your video with specific settings to maintain final render quality? For the records, are you using the proxy settings for scrubbing on the time line to make it lighter while editing your clips? Have you tried setting-up software to save project in as many interval saving secs as possible so nothing changes when you open up project again.
@@carreteFILMSPro I always render my projects in 4k even if I shoot them in 1080 so the project settings are always set at 4K. The first recommendation I was given by Corel was to keep the proxy settings shut down any animations for FX and the program is set to save my projects every one minute. I even tried saving the project every time I make a cut but when the program crashes all of my cuts are spaced out upon return to my project and the cuts are not in the same place inside each clip but I will check these settings to see if they help
@@dwsvlogs97 Oh, WOW! That's random. And... I assumed you already tried reinstalling the software correct? There's def a glitch there. I honestly do not use the pre-saved templates from the software, I created mine on AVI file format, yes its heavy but retains more detail and quality, takes more space on your system but once loaded and converted by the you tube uploader it looks good on the player. There's also options to manipulate how clips behave on your timeline, for example: Every-time you drop a clip on the time line it automatically stick or attach to whatever existed clips on there; there's an option there to prevent this so clips behave independently instead. Did you messed with those settings by any chance? Or... Did you try to custom modify the layout of the software to better fit your needs on screen, there's that option too that can cause a glitch. Could these be the problem, the glitch you're experiencing? I'm trying to think what can possibly cause it. See, I do not own a super PC, I built mine on AMAZON lol. Works just fine for whatever it is I use it, software behaves normal.

For 4K movies, Corel is not good enough. You should opt for Adobe Premier Pro.

Lots of new shiny pointless things people don't want. And it will still crash
100%. It's still not a bad application, but the crashes annoy the heck out of me. No matter what you build, be it custom computer with all parts (which is what I do), it still crashes from time to time.
So you delete my comment to say that your support is diabolical so here is another one for you My case is #3664901 and I highly suggest that instead of deleting valuable feedback which is 100% true is that you actually try and sort the matter because it is diabolical when I want to give you my hard earned money
