Totally agree! Australia is an incredible place. We've got it all - mountains, deserts, snowfields, rainforests, uluru and the stunning Great Barrier Reef. We're truly lucky to be surrounded by such diverse and breathtaking landscapes. Cheers from Brisbane, Australia!
So glad you did the Great Ocean Road. I’ve done it many times and never get sick of the beautiful scenery. I’ve really enjoyed watching your travels here and hope you have a special place in your hearts for Australia and us Aussies. Good luck on your next adventure ❤
We are so happy that we ended up doing the Great Ocean Road before leaving Australia - it will forever be one of our most treasured memories 🥹 And Australia & you Aussies certainly hold a VERY special place in our hearts now ❤️ already can't wait to be back!!
i have been watching your videos for about a year now. you guys are my absolute favorite youtubers. seeing you guys out there experiencing the beautiful world gives me so much joy. you seem like such amazing people so it is well-deserved. i always wish you guys the best & i love keeping up with you guys!
I love all your videos from every destination you have visited and have added many of the places (those involving food especially) into my own itineraries I have to say that seeing your explore and enjoy my home country was something particularly special. Whilst you only scratched the surface in terms of everything there is to see, do and experience, you highlighted it so wonderfully and I can only hope you make it back again in future to continue making wonderful memories! Safe travelling!
Thanks for your last few videos! Just finished the city weekend vid and now checking out your road trip. I moved to Melbourne from the US about 15 years ago and it's really nice to re-see it again through fresh eyes. Quick edit to add - 22,292 of beach in Australia and every single inch of it is open to the public. No private beaches anywhere. Always thought that was cool... kind of like making your own luck. It also snows in the mountains just east of Melbourne, so... skiing.
So sad to see you go, watched all your posts. Lovely young couple, come live here we need more kind gentle happy people like you. Come back soon. Safe trip home.
Loved the vlog! How do you guys stay soo fit while traveling? Can you guys make a vlog about your lifestyle ( your diet + skincare) that would be really interesting to watch. Lots of love ❤️
We've touched on this on a couple of our vlogs, but not too in depth - so we can definitely do that soon for you!! Until then check out this video from us: ruclips.net/video/dF3h1zX_l5Y/видео.htmlsi=efa4SBe_2CuRH-H8 It's "A Few Days In Our Life As Digital Nomads" and we touch on this a bit ❤️
So happy to see you guys have enjoyed Australia, there is plenty more to see as you said which leaves the excitement of a second trip in the future. Also while it may seem hard to believe, if you come here in July it may be worth going up to the Victorian snowfields (Mt Hotham or Falls Creek or Mt Bulla) as they provide great snowboarding/skiing or fun in the snow in general.
Ex texan here! I did the same thing, i came here for vacation (or holiday as the Australians say), fell in love, went back home and...... If you've ever been to texas, you will know why i am now an Australian citizen living in Melbourne 😂.
Thank you for your visit to our beautiful country… I for one once took it all for granted but now appreciate how lucky we are. Come back soon… so much more to see and experience.
I'm doing a 2 day roadtrip on the Great Ocean Road next year so I've been watching RUclips videos to determine where I should stop. Your video is my favorite one so far. Love the music!
I really enjoyed your videos. When you come back you must see the best of the best beaches. These include Lucky Bay in Esperance, Squeaky Beach in Wilsons Promontory, Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park, Lord Howe Island, Hills Inlet on Whitehaven Beach, Vivonne Bay in Kangaroo Island and the North and South Coast of NSW surrounding Sydney. If you come in winter you can also experience the biggest ski resort in the southern hemisphere called Perisher Blue. Unfortunately they don't have great photography on their instagram as they focus on Perisher Mountain which overlooks the car park, but trust me the Blue Cow Mountain and Guthega Mountain within the same resort are spectacular. And there are other good ski resorts including Thredbo, Falls Creek, Hotham and a few others and some in Tasmania where you can see the Southern Lights Aurora Australis. Im looking forward to your next adventure wherever you go. ❤
Too few AirBnBs remember the breakfast part of bed and breakfast, so glad you found one that provided actual hospitality. That restaurant first night looked great.
Such a wonderful series you both did on Australia.I'm no professional, but for me, your videography is great. You tell a nice story and your choice of music , superb. But the other story that really stands out is your genuine love for each other. That's what stood out for me. Anyway, from one Aussie to a pair of honorary Aussies, don't forget to come back some day.
Could not have said it better.they are both polite, friendly happy charming people. I love to see people like them, enjoying themselves in Australia. And it gives me a few ideas for holidays in this amazing country. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.😊
Wow, thank you so much, this comment really made us smile! We appreciate you coming along with us for the journey, and for your kind words about the content that we work so hard to make for you guys 🥰 we truly appreciate you!!
😭 thank you so much for watching & enjoying our Australia series! We're very happy that you're coming along with us for our next adventure 🥰 can't wait to share it with you!!
I've lived here all my life and I've only ever seen one koala in the wild in all that time so well done on ticking that off in just a couple of months! This bit is not really Great Ocean Road related, but to the east of it - in 1967 Harold Holt, our Prime Minister at the time, went for a swim at Portsea beach in Victoria. He vanished in the waves and has never been seen since... In Australian style, we named a Swimming Centre after him. COme back soon, I can recommend Perth, Broome and Ningaloo Reef in the West, and Tasmania is a must see too. I've really enjoyed your Australian videos. 5 stars!
Wowww, that's wild! Can't believe that he was never found! We promise to be back to explore western Australia soon!! Thank you for the suggestions & kind words ❤️❤️
@juanmarcelandrhylan make sure you check out Tasmania when you return. It's an often overlooked gem. Hobart & it's surrounds has beautiful scenery & some good eating AND the cleanest air in the world
You gotta come back though to see Tasmania and/or WA. You won't be disappointed, I promise. Good on you guys, thanks for the AUS series, watched every video of it. 🎉❤
Juan & rhylan, the big sign at the start; if you remember passing thru the towns of Aireys Inlet and Fairhaven a few kilometres back; I often visit this part of the world. I like to walk from Fairhaven or Aireys to this sign along the beach and wade thru the water. Awesome video and glad that you loved the GOR so much. + I tried the curried scallop pie at that bakery the previous summer; not bad but not a huge fan of seafood in pies.
My freind has a schollop fishing boat at appollo bay ..they drive the boat down near Tasmania to get the scollops over a million dollars worth each season ..they would be the schollops in those pies...l had 12 crumbed schollops yesterday but never in a pie...the rainforest walk looks like prehistoric doesn't it...on the east side of Melbourne has forests like that to and snow in winter ..it snowed yesterday up in the mountains but still about 7 weeks till winter...just past the great Ocean Rd sign is where we lay around on the beach in summer after a hard morning dirtbike riding threw forest at Anglesea .some practice for desert racing there because its similar being sandy ...
I’ve been down the GOR many times but your video puts a different perspective on it maybe because I’m too busy watching the road, good job Koala 🐨 spotting. Anglesea golf course , just before the video starts is often covered with 20 Kangaroos .
I live in Melbourne and have seen a few of your videos. What I want to know is why is it when I'm travelling I become exhausted yet you two always look like you're floating on air when you walk? PS the GOR was once voted one of the top 5 treks in the world to do by land, air or water.
No one stays in Airbnb in Australia, there much more expensive than hotels and as people found out who booked them for Taylor Swift concerts some of them cancel your booking at the last minute and re offer them at a much higher rate.
