In a mode where every frame matters i can see why they didnt wanna
@@jknifgijdfui doesnt make sense though as this is about your own speed and you dont influence the gameplay of the others. its more than reasonable to have party mode with like 0.25sec of delay to then have it compared to your friends afterwards without hindering much else.

If the game tells me "Your challenge, beat the Great Palace from Zelda 2 without taking any damage in under 8 minutes" I will lose it :)

I’m definitely gonna get this game when it comes out I remember qualifying for the Nintendo championships in 2017 but I did not make it and it was really fun and that this makes me think of I’m definitely going to play this for sure

This is really similar to NES Remix in my opinion. So at least there’s now a physical copy of NES Remix available and its a new game, not a compilation of two eShop games!

One of the challenges, if I'm not mistaken, is beating the original Super Mario Brothers in one go. I think that's the closest we got.

So, I thought this game was going to get boring very fast, but it actually is a ton of fun and very addicting. Especially when trying to beat other people in the cup divisions. Super fun. Highly recommended!

It won’t cause the game needs a microphone for it to be played so you can talk to other people
@@NotaffiliatedwithNintendo dude, the rec room is on the PlayStation, a microphone is not required there, especially since the game officially announced its release on the switch yesterday, but we don't know when.
I think Nintendo is trying to avoid anything where children can message other people

Can I just say how interesting it is that Nintendo not only tackled kaizo Mario in their own way with Super Mario maker, but they also now are tackling speed runs and challenges like they did with NES remix...only this time, they are harkening back to the days of the NWC. I so want this game to succeed, primarily so we can get a Super Nintendo Edition. 👍🏿
